When I first played Half Sword, I didn't immediately notice its muted color palette. However, after installing a ReShade preset, the difference was striking, the game felt noticeably desaturated. That's when I realized how much vibrancy was missing. With this preset, I'm bringing those colors back to life.

Installation Instructions:
- Download ReShade:
Visit ReShade's official website and download the latest version. - Install ReShade for HalfSword:
- Run the ReShade installer.
- When prompted, select the Half Sword executable (Half Sword.exe)
- Choose the appropriate rendering API (typically DirectX 10/11/12)
- When asked press the box at the top right two times and wait for ALL ReShade shaders to install.
- Unzip VibrantNova.ini
- Place the Preset File:
- Copy the
VibrantNova.ini
file into the same directory as your Half Sword executable. (Typically in win64 folder inside Half Sword folder)
- Copy the
- Launch the Game:
- Start Half Sword and Press the Home key to open the ReShade overlay.
- Follow the tutorial if it's your first time using ReShade.
- From the drop-down menu, press the one of the left/right arrows on the search bar looking thing and wait for it to select VibrantNova.ini
to apply the preset.
