ZMA's Fake Factory Remaster mod was created for Half Life 2.
This mod is a modification of the FFR with a convenient installation to adapt it to Half Life 2 VR.

Converting Fake Factory Remaster for HL2VR
- Install HL2 VR with Steam (you need the original Half Life 2 in your steam library, its installation is not necessary, to be able to access the HL2VR mod for free)
- Install the "Half-Life 2 4X AI Textures" mod
- Install this mod as follows:
Copy the "Half-Life 2 VR" file to the "common" folder in Steam and replace existing files
Delete the "cfg" folder from hl2ffr_main
Delete the "maps" folders in "Half-Life 2 VR\hlvr" and "Half-Life 2 VR\hl2"
In the root folder of the "Half-Life 2 VR" game, type "sound.cache" in the search bar and delete all the files in the list.
- The installation is complete. If you want to make sure everything is working, you can do this:
Load the "A Red Letter Day" chapter 2 and advance to where Kleiner is looking for Lamar. If Alyx enters the room and the sequence continues, that's a good sign.
Load the "Kanal Route" chapter 3. Once in the game, quickly save and load. If there's no notification that AI is disabled, the mod won't have any problems.
- Have fun.
--> Your old saves may crash the game, it is necessary to start again at the beginning of a chapter once the mod is installed! <--
