I’m pretty sure I tested this and it was glitchy (audio not working, animations not working, stuff like that).
There may be a way that you could somehow use the models/audio with the base game (not the animations), however it’s been so long since I was compiling these that I cannot remember the nature of the files or how they function.
So you possibly could, but with a lot of effort.
When I played with the mod, I disabled most of the content as I was mostly interested in some of the subtle additions (projectile weaponry over hitscan for example), so this could also be an option.
I will also mention, I have a mod compilation for the vanilla game that you can download.
When I eventually go back to HL2 for my next playthrough I will probably make an update to the vanilla modpack to make it more similar to this collection.
