Hey, i imported your script and replaced the original FishingScripts.lua with it (after changing your file's name to FishingScripts.lua), and i seem to have some problems, as my game freezes whenever i try fishing. the game freezes on fishing animation and i am unable to do anything (even pressing escape doesn't do anything)
The mod description seems outdated. DON'T replace your FishingScripts.lua! Use Mod Importer and Mod Utility like all the other mods. I did the same as you at first and it keeps crashing my game.
Just out of curiosity, is there a way to edit the code to use a "normal" catch so that you can get a chance at the common fish? I'm thinking about starting a new game again and I don't really want to go through all the fishing tedium to finish my codex, but I know that perfect catches lock you out of the common fish. And I am unfortunately completely code illiterate with understanding what I'm reading/changing in the lua file.
If not, I can just manually fish and use this for later, but I am super curious to see if I can just automate it the whole way lol.

Your description really undersells just how awesome it is to fish - Just cast at a spot, you can go AFK if you want, crack open a beverage, and be back in time for the catch animation to just be completing. No other interaction necessary. Perfect catches every time, every biome!. Cheers
