StyxScribe can't work on the Windows Store / Xbox Game Pass version due to their sandbox preventing us from using the IO file descriptors on the process (stdout). And we can't get around this since the game ships without the `io` module.
Trying to get this mod to work. So far everything seems to be set up right. But. Some commands work properly while others will cause a bug report to pop-up and cause Zagreus to be unable to move without quitting out of the game. Any advice?
Only just saw your message now. I've had a report from someone else about some crashes too, it looks to be a versioning issue to do with compatibility of particular ModUtil and/or StyxScribe releases, I'm going to do some more research and testing on that in the coming days and will have an update for you soon. Chances are I'll just need to provide links to specific versions of those and it should hopefully be fixed.
In the meantime, could you advise which commands are broken, and also supply one of the crash dump logs from that popup that appears when the game crashes?
I think the crash has been fixed now. There was an incompatibility with the latest version of ModUtil; I've updated my mod to get around that and am working with the ModUtil author to fix the issue in that too, but if you download the latest version now (0.1.1) it should hopefully just work now. I tried to install this for Hades using Xbox for PC Windows but it doesn't work.
I think the issue is with StyxScribe.
