For those who are just now coming here, hereĀ“s my experience with the mod, I only use modifiers for darkness, gold, and health though, not the rest.
1) The newer version with a button on the boon screen works 2) The modifiers only modify chamber rewards, any other sources of money or darkness such as the Well or Boons are not modified 3) If you open the mod during a run, your companion stops working for the rest of the run 4) Do not use the button before you claim all rewards in the room 5) The interact button may visually disappear, but it still works, just press whatever your keybind is when you are close 6) Keep in mind how math works, if you multiply something by a number less than 1 you get less, so dont go setting anything below 1! 7) If you use other mods (like extended mirror) your chance for a boon chamber is so high you will never get any darkness chamber, if you (like me) just wanna stock up on darkness, do one run with mirror disabled and set your darkness mod to like 7000 or something, though it takes like 5 minutes of just holding your mouse button on the plus sign :D
With this in mind, this mod is great, I got exactly what I wanted from it, so I happily endorse!
Had the same issue with the interact button disappearing. Resolved it by manually editing the values in MultiplierConfig.lua, deleting MultiplierConfigMenu.lua, and removing its import from modfile.txt.
Caused the prompt to interact to disappear, and codex couldn't be opened even when not in a run. Uninstalling the mod didn't fix it, so had to restore my save from a backup.
Is it possible to change the hotkeys for this? I find it's way too easy to open the menu while I'm fighting something if I have a Call to use (I tend to dash enough that I'm almost constantly pressing the dash button, so having a Call means I end up accidentally pressing the hotkey combination to open the mod menu). Wouldn't be a big deal except it seems to make me unable to accept any rewards for the chamber I'm in afterwards, basically causing me to have to give up the run.
Might be useful to add in the description how to change hotkeys. When looking in MultiplierConfigMenu.lua I see that you're using the string names of the controls to open the interface. Looking at this I am at a loss of what I'm supposed to do if I wanted to change it to something else. While I like the utility this mod offers, it is extremely frustrating for this interface to open up time and time again.
There is not really a possiblity. Hades only observe key presses which are in the config menu. So Dash for example is Space, but when the user changed it to H then the mod will use this button.
So you only have the option to use the Control String like Rush, Attack1, Codex, Shout, etc.
Thank you so much for making this! It perfectly worked :) Just for info: I added a line Import "MultiplierConfigMenu.lua" to the "STEAM\steamapps\common\Hades\Content\Mods\MultiplierConfig\modfile.txt", and it was imported successfully.
