About this mod

A set of mods that will allow Blind Players to play the game much easier. 4 mods can be downloaded which are No Trap Damage, No Lava damage, Resource Shower, and Door Sounds.

The mod has 4 modules to it that are all optional. To install install like any other mod (tutorial below) and any number can be installed.

Modules:
  • No Lava Damage: Removes all Lava damage to the player, so you can stand in Lava and not take any damage for as long as you want. The audio will still play 
  • No Trap Damage: As the name suggests it removes all damage to the player, preventing them from taking trap damage. This will also disable Lava Damage so both are not needed 
  • Resource Shower: This is a simple menu with text that displays all your resources and the amount, as well as currently equipped keepsake, and only that, so Screen reader can easily read the values. To open it open the boon manager (B on PC, Back Arrow on Xbox Controllers, Share on PS4 Controllers) then press Up (Default is Up D-Pad on Controllers, W on PC)
  • Door Sounds Menu: Big thanks to JLove for making the majority of this and playtesting this!  Upon collecting the reward for the room a menu will appear. On the menu will be buttons with text reading each of the exit door's rewards. Upon selecting one you will teleport to the door to go through. If you want to change which door is playing the sound to reopen the menu simply open the boon manager (Default B on PC, Back Arrow on Xbox, and Share on PS4 Controllers) then press Left (Default is Left D-Pad, A on PC)
  • Store Menu: Big thanks to JLove for making a majority of and playtesting this! When inside a store room (including the Styx Hub), allows a menu to open that has buttons that tell you the names and price of each store item in the store. Upon selecting one teleport next to the item and buy it as normal. To open this open the boon manager (Default B on PC, Back Arrow on Xbox, and Share on PS4 Controllers) then press Right (Default is Right D-Pad, D on PC)
  • Rewards Menu: This was all JLove, and amazing work. Allows opening a menu to find rewards and objects in any room. Allows seeing: fishing points, Infernal Troves (Lists Contents), Wells of Charon, Pools of Purging, Poision Curing Styx Pools, Food (from Eye of Lamia, will automatically be eaten), Keepsake Display Case (in the Courtyard), Weapons (Courtyard, also lists current equipped weapon). To open this menu, open the boon manager (Default B on PC, Back Arrow on Xbox, and Share on PS4 Controllers) then press Down (Default is Down D-Pad, S on PC)
How to install :

With mod importer :

-Download attached archive
-Download and install Python
-Download Magic's mod importer and its SJSON module
-Navigate to Steam\steamapps\common\Hades\Content (or Epic launcher equivalent)
-Extract archives
-Run modimporter (double click)
-Navigate to Steam\steamapps\common\Hades\Content (or Epic launcher equivalent)
-Extract archive in the Mods folder (create it if it doesn't exist)
-Download ModUtil into Steam\steamapps\common\Hades\Content\Mods
-Run modimporter (double click)

How to uninstall :

-Make sure you are not in a run when you exit the game!
-Delete any or all Modules in Mods folder
-Run modimporter

How to update :
-Extract new archive into the Mods folder and replace existing files. Also check installation instructions for possible changes.
