I'm not sure if you're still active at all, but I'd like to know if you're ok with someone porting one of these to the current modding method for Xrd Rev2? UMod isn't used anymore by most people, so it'd be more convenient. I would give credit to you for the original mod though of course.
So specifically, you can't drag the ZIP archives onto the window? I'm not sure how to fix that. I doubt that would be an issue, unless the pirated copy somehow has different base addresses (in which case your game should freeze instead.)
Oh, I had an idea. Try running the program as an administrator. If that works I will add it to the installation instructions. Otherwise, select and hold any file in a File Explorer window with the right mouse button, and press the Escape key before releasing the right mouse button. Then retry.
i tried running the program as admin already, since opening the game asks for admin approval. but still no go, i also tried what you just said, to press the esc before releasing the right button, but doesn't do anything :c.
i think maybe it's because the pirated copy i have requires a .bat file to open?
No, that wouldn't prevent you from dragging ZIP archives onto the uMod window. Can you drag any file onto any program window? Like say for example, adding a file to a ZIP archive.
Yes i can drag a file to a program window, and i have done this umod thing before once, but for some reason this one wont work. heck, i can even do a video recording to show you if you want, to see if im doing anything wrong :c
