WeaponCustomizer

WeaponCustomizer is a GTFO mod that allows player to customize components of their weapons such as scope and flashlight. Some of the components will have in-game effect, introducing an RPG element into the game.

Mod Summary

This mod generates a configuration file for each weapons so you can select the part you wish to customize.  Not every weapons have all customization options. Please read the description in each CFG to see the details of the options.

As there are too many mods to describe in a single page, it is recommended that you use the following mod to display the modded weapon's stats in-game.

Installation 
1. Install BepInEx. You can use the one from here.
2. Extract the BepInEx into GTFO directory and run the game once so that it generates all the required folders and files
3. Navigate to your GTFO folder and extract the mod zip file into the GTFO.
4. Run the game once again. The mod should then generate config files under BepInEx/config.

In-Game Reload option 
You can edit the config files and then reload the settings in-game. The reload button is on the right side of the loadout menu where you see 4 characters before starting the level. Make sure you swap your weapons around to ensure that the new data is reloaded correctly.

Incompatibility
This mod is reported to not work correctly with DMR Reload fix. You will have to turn off realistic reload in WeaponCustomizer.cfg.

FAQ
1. I cannot earn Progression such as boosters and skins
You can delete the GTFO-API.dll from the plugin folder, at your own risk. This plugin prevents some analytic and statistics from sending over to the 10CC server. I believe it was requested by the developer to not record modded runs and to prevent progression. 

There are mods on Thunderstore that allows you to unlock all cosmetic and have unlimited perfect boosters if that's what you need.

2. Will I get banned using this?
No, as this mod should only be used in your private lobby. You may get banned from the official discord for using any type of mods in their voice channels and public matchmaking.

3. Can I only modify the appearance but keep the original weapon stats?
Yes, you can edit the config file to enable appearance only adjustments to the weapon.

Set AdjustWeaponStats to false under the following config file:
BepInEx\config\WeaponCustomizer.cfg

4. Can I use this mod on Custom Rundowns?
Probably not

5. Do you have to be the host?
No, this mod is client side only. So you should still be able to play with your friends even if they decide not to use it.
