It works but you have to move all your STGA files out of the directory that he states (keep all your files somewhere else) then put his files into the directory.
When you are told that your local files don't match your cloud files scroll down on the two STGA files named in this mod and check it ONLY, you will only see the one file STGA50015 as the "bak" file isn't necessary and won't show up as a local file to check, (the local one you copied ONLY) hit the button at the bottom and then confirm.
What this mod does is it will set your progress to 11.3% of story mode and will give Michael over 1 billion dollars. Franklin still has a little money and Trevor isn't available yet.
It does work if you follow what I have said and what this modder has said.
NOTE: Just to be sure that removing all the STGA files didn't corrupt my game I did a game file verification through Steam (I own this through steam) and it didn't add any STGA files, so then I copied all the two files from this mod into the directory he stated and it worked.
It's just a save game file that is at 11.3% game progress. Michael has $1.4 billion. Franklin has $247. And Trevor is not accessible yet. What I was looking for is a save game file that is just far enough along to have Trevor available, and all three characters have 1 billion dollars or so. Unfortunately, this one is not that. It's a good save game file. Just not what I was looking for.
