   Basic... NPC call the Police when witnessing a crime... (Animals are also NPC's)...
   Same as Skyrim... Chickens are witnesses... If you kill a Chicken in Skyrim it's just like killing any other NPC...

      lmao that makes no sense. What next? Are they going to drive cars too because other NPC's drive cars? The fact Rockstar didn't disable the ability for animals to report crimes is dumb, just like your comment.

   You must replace the file in <game_dir>\update\update.rpf\common\data\ai\, not in <game_dir>\common.rpf. This is because the current game version uses updates and reads update.rpf with higher priority than common.rpf.

   Who the hell programmed animals to call the cops in the first place? I never noticed that this happened, explains alot though.

      Nobody "programmed" them. They were simply not excluded from the witness package and trigger stars on crime actions like any other NPC.

      @Rygar666 Technically that is programming them, even allowing them to be effected by the same arrays that normal humanoid NPCs are in general was just plain stupid. Especially if it can be fixed by just some random fan.
