GCU Car Pack - is a global modification for GTA IV, which offers players to replace ALL vehicles with their real prototypes or maximum close authentic analogues. All passenger cars, SUVs, vans, official transport and heavyweight trucks are replaced with appropriate real models. No mods disturbing esthetic balance of the game are used. Only transport that can be called suitable for the game's timeframe and only models, that really can be found in the USA.

Maximally possible authenticity is complemented by the high quality of transport - all models have LOD system and comfortable camera for shooting and driving. The vast majority of cars are well optimized, textures have mip-map levels. Also, all models, which were available for us to modificate, were adapted for correct displaying during story cut-scenes and missions without any harm for the camera/sight.

This carpack contains 107 units of motor-vehicles (read carlist.txt) and 57 of them - new exclusive modifications, which were specially made for GCU Car Pack project. You can look through the whole list of exclusive vehicles in the following topic: gta.com.ua/forum2/index.php?showtopic=4200

Installation of a basic modification

Only the game version 1.0.7.0 is supported (https://gta.com.ua/file_gta4_details.phtml?id=392)!

Replace or copy files yourself in following paths:

- "Main folder" to \Grand Theft Auto IV\
- "Settings" files (.ide, .dat) \Grand Theft Auto IV\common\data\
- "Models" files (.img) \Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\models\cdimages

Installation of the additional components ("Extras")

We are also giving you some additional mods: car names replacement (on real model's names that are presented in our carpack), replacement web-pictures and text-message photos with pictures and photos of our models. The location of these material is following:

- file, replacing "�ar names" (.gxt) \Grand Theft Auto IV\common\text (only manual installation)
- file, replacing "Web-pictures" (.wtd) \Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\textures (automatic or manual installation)
- files of "Stevie's cars photos" (.img) \Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\data\cdimages (automatic or manual installation)

In this topic, you will get basic information about the scripts will find the discussions and reviews on various scripts and choose a suitable option. Single universal solution, which is equally would help all players without exception at the moment DOES NOT EXIST. Try different scripts to achieve the best results!

All the scripts are freely available and are copyrighted by their creators. Using these scripts, obey all of the original copyright readme-files!

Distribution terms

All modifications from the GCU Car Pack Special list (GCU_CP_spec.txt) � 8.26.2014 �� 9.26.2014 (inclusive) are exclusives for gta.com.u� ! Till the exclusivity period ends, placing this mod on other resources is FORBIDDEN!

All modifications from the GCU Car Pack Special list can be distributed only together! Single distribution of these models is FORBIDDEN!

When exclusive period ends, you can place GCU Car Pack on your resource, BUT only following next rules:
1) DO NOT CHANGE the content and/or autoinstaller;
2) DO NOT CHANGE files of the modification! use original screenshots and description;
3) DO NOT assign the authority of the modification and its components to you;
4) DO NOT use modification and its components in commercial purposes.

Using of the exclusive modifications from the GCU Car Pack Special list (GCU_CP_spec.txt) in other packs is allowed ONLY after agreement with authors of the GCU Car Pack and only when exclusive period will be ended!
