Probably this white pistol thing has something to do with your game's version. The mod worked perfectly on 1.0.4.0 and 1.0.7.0 on my PC, I honestly don't know what seems to be wrong with it
I bet you saw the original weapons in cutscenes on in the trunk of Jacob's car. Well, if I change them to hi-res, massive pop-in will kick in cause cutscene props and map props are in the maps folder and they constitute map structure, which breaks the game in a massive way if anything is changed to something more hi-res.
All I can do is replace original weapon props to low-poly versions of the guns you see in the game, e. g. the desert eagle prop will be changed to .44 automag, the sawed off shotgun will be changed to the street sweeper, etc. Hit me up if you need this, I'll try to do this when I have the time
If I got it right, you want to keep the vanilla Deagle. No problem, but you'll have to install the mod and then install vanilla Deagle files over it. It's pretty hard so do it only if you've got enough experience
I created a video making a remaster of gta 4 and used one of your mods. I promised subscribers to create an installer but said that first I would ask permission from the modders who created it. Can I do the installer? (It's free and you will receive credits) By the way, I put credits in the video too
Hey man, that's a good idea, feel free to make the installer as long as you credit me as the original creator. By the way, which one of my mods did you use in the video?
Hey, read the instructions file carefully, it's in the archive and it's called something like readme or installation instructions, I don't remember.
In short, you need a tool called OpenIV (Google it, you can download it from the official website), it lets you open IV's archives and replace stuff in them. Then you take files from the mod and drag and drop them into the game's archives where intended
I've checked the archive with the Preview file contents button, it doesn't seem to have anything photoshop-related in it. When you download it, you should get a .zip or .rar archive with files like weaponinfo.xml, weapons.ivaud, weapons.img and something like this. If it downloads like a .psd file, try contacting the Nexus support for assistance, there must be some issue on their end
I think it might be an issue on my end, it even does it on other sites, I just cant figure out why its doing it, thanks for the swift reply now I know its an issue on my end!
I've never heard about such bugs, is it like you download stuff and it becomes readable by Photoshop even though the files aren't psd or every file you download turns into a psd one? The first issue is easy to solve, the second one though is something crazy
