Unfortunately as of 1.2 this mod no longer works. The mod does still work in the fact it provide gas immunity, however, for some reason when you pop the gum wad that holds the sticky fingers trinket, the game crashes. Not sure why, but i guess something in the update changed something with the badge.
Can confirm this also happens with the Fancy Fletching. It doesn't seem to be every trinket as I was able to get the Dandelion Tuft. Saving and removing the mod allows you to pick up the trinket but it will disappear once you reload. Leaving it just dropped on the ground before re-adding the mod makes the trinket have a bad item blank icon and you get an "Inventory Full" message. I assume that since additional trinkets have been added since this mod was released that the Toxicology Badge probably changed its ID in the Trinket tables.
Thanks for this. Nerfing the toxicology badge made me seriously consider trashing it out of spite. Now it's useful again!
I really wish they'd stop trying to "fix" things. First they bork the toxicology badge, and now they've made the Natural Explorer mutation stop working if you aggro an insect. Sure they made it increase your speed a lot more, but if you aggro any bug (even attacking harmless ones) it slows you down, and the game really isn't smart enough to figure out when it should be active or not so it's a mess.
are you able to make a mod that drops more grub sludge per grub since its easy to find grubs and all but they dont always drop alot or make bubblegum drops more chunks
Thank you for this mod. The 1.02 change made the badge completely useless (imo), so this is officially going to be the first mod for the game that I actually use.
I've made it, because most of my saves (including last one) were in Haze, and my character didn't have any gas mask or anything which could help him to get out without dying. I was to lasy to start from afar)

not sure if anyone has suggested yet but it would be good if there was a mod for meal stacking and not expiring.And how does your suggestion apply to this mod?
