Version 1.1 is out. Thank you @centimtre for the bug report. The mod should be working perfectly now without any game breaking bugs. Feedback and criticism is always appreciated, enjoy!
Sorry if the question is silly. What do you mean "Run the x64 version of the game", if I launch the game from Steam, will it be the x64 version? And one more question - will the Steam achievements be still enabled? Thanks for the mod!
I guarantee there is no virus. The source code is available, you can rebuild it yourself and test it. Since it's a program that changes a game in memory, some anti viruses might wrongly identify it as a virus. Just like Cheat Engine, and other programs of the kind.
It's not though. I am providing the source code so you can check it yourself. Build it from my source code and do a bin diff. There should be no difference or very little difference. Don't know what else to say ¯\_(?)_/¯.
Yep Malwarebytes flags it as malware ai then if you upload it to virustotal 34/71 34 security vendors and no sandboxes flagged this file as malicious and that seems like more detections than if it was a false positive.
I might be doing something wrong, but this doesn't seem to work. I run the x64 version of the game then run the .exe as an administrator but it has no effect on the game. The rift icon is disabled in places it wasn't meant to be used, and the hotkey to open a rift doesn't work either. I only have the base game + AoM if that makes a difference to anyone.
Did you try using both and it didn't work? There are two possibilities:
1-.If their "GrimInternals64.exe" launches "Grim Dawn.exe" you just need to run their tool first and then run my mod. If that doesn't work it means Grim Internals changes code in memory that I also change, making both mods incompatible. 2-The Grim Dawn process is never launched, because they changed the executable and renamed it. Only "GrimInternals64.exe" is launched and not "Grim Dawn.exe". If they didn't touch the game's code that I changed, then the following should work: Rename their tool to ""Grim Dawn.exe". Or you can try rebulding my mod, changing the following line if (m.OpenProcess("Grim Dawn")) { to if (m.OpenProcess("GrimInternals64")) {
Sorry, I never used any mods other than my own, and I don't have Grim Dawn installed anymore. If you find any game breaking bug, however, I will reinstall the game to fix it!
