Not anymore. Not ever again.
Description
Use Riftgates wherever you want, including forbidden realms, void rifts and the shattered realm. Basically anywhere you wouldn't be able to use a rift gate, now you can. For the x64 version of the game only. I did with all expansions installed, but it should work with only the base game as well.
How to use
Run the x64 version of the game first, then run the executable as an Administrator. Done.
FAQ
Q- What about x86 version of the game ?
A- I'm not gonna do it.
Q- Is the change permanent? Do I need to make a backup ?
A- Nah it's safe. The program changes the game in memory, nothing is saved to the disk.
Q- Is it compatible with mod <insert mod name here> ?
A- If it doesn't change the same place in memory my mod changes, it should be compatible.
Q- Can you make it compatible with <insert mod name here> ?
A- Sorry, no. I only ever used this mod. However, the source code is available, if you wish you can go ahead and change it to suit your needs.
Q- Mod <insert mod name here> is much better! It accomplishes what your mod does, and can also do x, y, z, w, k... etc.
A- Not much of a question. I do not like using cannons to kill mosquitoes. This mod does what it was designed to do.
Q- Can I incorporate your mod to my own?
A- Sure, as long as you're not making money with your mod. Just credit me.
Q- Where do I place the executable?
A- Wherever you want. It doesn't need to be placed on any specific folder.
Q- My AV says your mod has viruses. What do you have to say about this?
A- It doesn't have any virus. The source code is included, you can build the mod yourself and do a bin diff if you want. Antiviruses typically wrongly accuse mods of this nature as viruses, because they edit the game in memory and do "hackery" stuff. Unfortunately there's nothing else I can say or do about these false positives.
