Works great! Just a note for newer Steam users, it wouldn't work for me in the documents suggested install, I had to put it in "Steam\steamapps\common\Grim Dawn\" and make the settings folder. Started right up in Dawn of Masteries no problem

How do I get this to work? I extracted the ui folder to the grim dawn/settings folder but the cursor still looks the same.

    this is the folder - C:\Users\[name-here]\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn\Settings

I'm not particularly familiar with OneDrive or how it interacts with Grim Dawn, I guess it could complicate things.

It might be worth trying the other install method - create a "settings" folder in the Grim Dawn install directory, e.g.

      C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grim Dawn\settings\(Steam default)

      or

      C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Grim Dawn\settings\(GOG default)

      ...and extract the files there.

I'm using a 55" 4k TV as monitor and actually played at half resolution - until I happened upon this mod. Thanks for this QOL gimmick.

It might be worth to mention here that in options.txt the setting uiScale = 1 (slider max right in Options/Video) could be changed to 1.25 or more: the icons are more distinguishable in the status bar, the lore/question log becomes readable again. Don't touch the slider now or you have to do the manual adjustment again.

    And yes, I'm old... *sigh*

Thanks for this mod! I was getting really annoyed in battles when I often could not see my little cursor. Much better now!

No matter what file I install, the cursor doesn't change.  This is the first mod I've installed.  I did it through the vortex installer. I tried just my normal game and a new custom game, but the cursor just stays the same.  Is there something I need to do to enable mods or something like that??   TIA!

EDIT:  Also, if I manually download the file, it downloads a .7z file, but doesn't recognize that it's a compressed file, so I can't "extract" it.  I'm also a n00b so good chance I'm just doing something wrong.

Sorry about the Vortex confusion, I missed the checkbox to disable downloading with it when I uploaded the current version of the mod.

.7z archives can be extracted using 7-Zip, PeaZip and similar file archivers.

I'm not sure if the mod can be made compatible with Vortex - the Grim Dawn extension for it uses the \Grim Dawn\mods\ folder, which I think might not work for this type of mod (if it does, it might require playing in Custom Game mode... which wouldn't be ideal).

That's so weird. I have 7 zip but it wasn't automatically recognizing the file.  I had to open 7 zip and then extract from within the program.  Oh well....got it to work!   Thanks!
