Hey it's been a while, sorry. My mods for this game are unfortunately unsupported ever since the 3rd expansion, I fell out of the game and didn't wind up buying it. Stash expansion is a VERY difficult task that isn't worth it for me to add even if I wanted to (my mods took like an hour to cobble together, plus testing). There is an existing overhaul for the game that does offer this functionality, though, and there's also a 3rd party stash manager that can be used to similar effect. I'll leave it to you to discover those if you haven't already and still want it.

Hi author, you can run the arz file in the base game by adding a run argument, so how can I add a run argument to be able to run the whole mod file in the base game?

This mod is great, I never knew how much the puny cost for respeccing really held me back from experimenting with different builds. It's not that I didn't have the iron/crystals, it's just the idea of wasting resources that was stopping me. Thank you for making this! :)

Seeing as this is a separate mod with its own world and characters, separate from the "main campaign", would it be possible to add a few more QoL features for those that want them?
    Here's my suggestions:

-Remove all random map blockers in each act after defeating the act's boss (or just remove them outright if that's too complicated).
I know the purpose of these randomly generated blockers is to make the map diverse and changing and force players to explore more of it by going around, but after going through the zones once or twice, it becomes annoying having to go around them, when you just want to get where you're going faster. It slows down farming, makes running through the difficulties more annoying and time-consuming than it should be, and dissuades players from completing all quests. It doesn't help that the teleport skills in GD are nerfed and can't teleport you over a log, much less a wall. I think more open maps would be welcomed by many.

-Put every totem in its own group with 100% spawn chance (in other words, spawn all totems, always).
This might be a bit cheat-y, but it would reduce the tedious running around and checking for totem spawns while farming so much. Besides, it's not like it's free loot, we still gotta fight for it. Just a QoL for people who want faster farming, more fights while leveling and less grindy endgame.
The same treatment could be extended to treasure troves, but that would be pretty cheat-y :D

-Make illusions (transmog) free or cost 1 iron. We deserve to look stylish, even when we're broke :D

Thank you for your feedback! I really appreciate you!

In regards to your requested inclusions, keep in mind that this tweaks pack is just to make the game more to my own tastes, and is provided only in the case that someone else would like my tweaks as well:
      1. Map blockers - this is an interesting concept, but for me is what keeps exploring and farming the old maps interesting and dynamic. I will not be investigating this possibility.
      2. Totem spawns - similar to above, I feel like this would take away from the dynamic feeling of farming in the game. I will not be investigating this possibility.
      3. Transmog for free - DUH, WHY DIDNT I THINK OF THIS? I will look at getting this added for the 1.21 updated version when I get to that. (I'm no active in grim dawn any more, I'll try to do this ASAP!)

      Thanks for the reply!
I'm glad you liked one of my suggestions :)

By the way, I think it would be very useful to include instructions on how to install this as a base mod, so people can carry over their item assistant stash, be able to earn achievements and be able to play crucible with this mod, or use this along with another mod. It's the perfect use case for a mod like this.

I do not know how to make it a "base mod". If someone smarter than me could figure it out that would be great. The utilities for modding in this engine are pretty archaic and not a tonne of fun to work with so I didn't get very deep into understanding it beyond these simple tweaks. I eventually resolved to "I guess I just can't play crucible on this character any more."

Very sorry that this answer isn't more helpful!

It's actually incredibly simple. You just rename the .arz file of your mod to "database.arz" and put it into "Grim Dawn/mods" without a subfolder. If the mod has .arc file resources (yours doesn't), put them in the mods folder as well. Now run the game with the " /basemods" argument and you're done.

That's it. Now it works in the base game without starting it from the custom games menu, and without copying your characters and stashes (I'd still recommend backing those up, just in case)

Putting those instructions in the mod description could help a lot of people, because I almost gave up on the mod when I couldn't get my Item Assistant to transfer my stashed items to a custom game, and found out Achievements weren't working. ;)

Consider using Item Assistant for infinite inventory, it's amazing.

      Thanks for your feedback!

Increasing inventory space is a lot more complicated than the effort I was ever willing to put into this mod. Believe you me, I also wanted this. But I looked into it and I'm just not willing to go through all that effort for what was supposed to just be a simple tweaks mod.

      Sorry!

Hi there. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to make a "max speed only" version of the mod that just increases max speed of the player, and nothing else. Also, is this updated for 1.21? Thanks!

It has not been updated for 1.21, thank you for bringing this to my attention - I forgot we were anticipating a new expansion and I left the community. I will be looking at getting it updated soon. Once I get around to that (likely in the next week or two,) I will release a speed only tweak as a separate mod and update you here!
