BTW I also tried turning off Mark of De Sardet and then running this, but it seems the textures from this mod just don't load in. I installed it way back around the time the game first came out and it was working fine back then, but not today when I reinstalled the game after months. I have Greedfall.exe on Resorep, I put in the datalocal files in datalocal and the Resorep modded files in Resorep modded, but still the game uses the vanilla textures when I reach character creation. Any advice?
Edit :Tried after installing the latest version of Java, still vanilla textures though :(
I'm so sorry to hear this! I would love to remake this mod someday, but it's been so long since I've modded Greedfall and I have a very short memory, so I think I'd have to completely refresh myself on how it would work. Also, as of right now I'm neck deep in modding Baldur's Gate 3 Early Access, and spend a lot of my time busy with other things :( Basically I'm afraid I cannot help any of yall with my Greedfall mods right now... I hope one day I can remake them so they no longer require Resorep like the mod you've linked in your first comment, but that sadly will not be soon. I'm so sorry :(
I also have this problem. I re-downloaded Greedfall and the mods I previously used into my new computer and the textures didn't load as well. All texture mods doesn't work anymore as well like the NPC retexture and Tweaks.
I hope you'll update it someday if you have time. Otherwise, thank you still for your contribution in this community.
I was able to get mine to work by reapplying Resorep again and making sure my directory for the modded textures are in the correct address . For example, my modded textures were on D:\Documents\Resorep\modded" This address should be the same with the Resorep application text box for the modded texture address. I hope I explained it clearly (English is not my native language).
hello there. it's been quite a while, but mb you'll answer. i'd like to remove freckles from female de sardet's face, i know you made an optional file without them, but i want a completely clear face. do i need to edit the dds file in the modded folder? i opened it through the paint.net and drew what I want but the character's skin in the game becomes black :0
I have tried everything and I mean E V E R Y T H I N G to get this to work- my game crashed, had to re-download it sooooo many times. I got resorep to boot up and there are log files in my data folder that show it did (?) something? But the textures do not show up. Please, please if anyone out there managed to get this thing to work in 2024 with a windows 11 let me know. I will send virtual hugs and wish for your good fortune every day
if the mod doesn't show the skins with resorep make sure u check the mod's location, resorep for some reason auto put a wrong location for the file which has the mod. follow the vid linked to the mod and once done with all that, make sure it goes like this; C:\Users\name\Documents\Resorep\modded. and just to be sure it works, remove the game.exe from the resorep program then add it. it should show up just fine.
I am not sure why the readme says high or lower textures. I am not fond of the idea of having to lower my game's visual fidelity to use this mod but it seems to work on ultra regardless.

@soriyumi Thank you very much for your wonderful mods for GreedFall.

NoireWidow wrote: Same question, I had to choose this over Reshade. Worth it, but would love to be able to use both.
MagdalenaA wrote: @drowka, @NoireWidow I didn't do anything special ... I don't know if the order of installation matters, but I installed ReShade (ver. 4.3) first, and then the other things.
drowka wrote: Real Reshade by A100N has reshade 2.0, so maybe it's make a problem.
Have an issue with Reshade 4.3 too. If I install resorep and this mod - it works perfectly well. But when I'm trying to use Reshade - it just doesn't work, nothing happens when I try to toggle it on. It works only if I rename dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll - but if I do so, the resorep do not work. How do you manage to make them work together?
I looked into the matter a bit. The issue is persistent in pretty much every game that uses Resorep and can use SweetFX/ReShade. It has been posted about in several forums with no known workaround. I'm afraid we just have to choose, as the issue seems to be from Resorep's side.
For those having trouble re-applying this mod again after the update. Make sure to delete the following files before hooking the Resorep again. After deleting these and doing the procedure again, it finally worked. :D Thank you so much for this complexion! I really love it!

Both of this tools use the .dll file in the main game folder .... suppose this could be a bit a problem.
