It didn't work for me at first, but at another mod (More Carry Weight mod) the user Dazaster commented:
"To get this to work after an update, simply open it with notepad. Near the top you'll see a range of #'s across the top. Delete one, then press # to add it back. Save the file and you're done. This is because the game reads the internal date on the file and as it's before the updates date the game won't use it. So doing this and saving it changes the date to after the updates date."
And this worked for me here as well. Therefore I thought, I just leave this here, as it might help others as well. (As one user couldn't find the #: it doesn't have to be a #, can be any letter, it's only important to add it back.)
I don't have any other mods installed that mess with auto_gen, and it looks as though the values have been changed. In game the price is not changed tho? I'm not sure if something has changed since the release of this mod, I am just very confused
Just started playing last night and have discovered your issue - quote "But some equipment, (the high-tiered ones) cost around 11 gold to 25 gold. It's still very cheap though. It's something in the code that they multiply the buy price, and I have yet to find it."
adds in your recycle ingredients prices aka "ing_mob_leather" 5 gold and "ing_ore_metal1" 4 gold and so on an so forth, this is why your 1 gold theory is sound, but being thrown off by the additional "Recycling Results". Just thought you should know. Located within craft_ingredients_autogen.sli... High-tiered stuff has more crafting ingredients.
is there a way to dupe items in the .sli file? ive been playing around with it for personal use and when I modify a cape for example the merchants cape it modifies every merchant cape in the game. was wondering if there is a way to dupe it so I can modify the clone only and not all capes
