    This mod is obsolete now that the proper files have been located, hooray!

    Please use "No Skill and talents point requirements" by Enp0ping for all your talent points needs. They found the main talent points file, yay!

    JFTR: The mod you suggest as a better replacement has been set to hidden for over a year now.

    This is a great mod. Have no idea why you consider it obsolete. It does what no other mod does.

    EDIT: It does work and it is quite beautiful. Alongside the DLC, it enhances GreedFall thousandfold! I just extracted it wrongly or WinRar corrupted it or something.

    Stellar work! Now, if only there was such a mod for Attributes...

    Actually its not obsolete at all. it's something completely different that the one you recommended. The other does not do what I want. yours gives me just a little leg up I wanted at start

      Agreed, those are two different types of mods. While I'd like if the mod creator created a 2-3 point version of this mod, even something as crude as 1 to all Talents is acceptable.

    I really love this mod here ... it is all what I was looking for (for my talents).

    Thank you! :-)

    EDIT: Changing that file didn't work for me, so I found something else in the sli file when extracted to get the uncompressed sli:

    sli_uncompressed.spk\engine\input\library_input_engine.sli
    <command id="FLY_MODE" contexts="engine_cheats">...<button channel="pad_RT" onDownToUp="true"/>
    <!-- <command id="FLY_MODE_STANDALONE">...<button channel="F1"/>

    Yes there are cheats built into the engine!

    <command id="DEBUG_MENU_ACTIVATE" contexts="engine_cheats">...<button channel="tab" onUpToDown="true"/>

    And there's a console command!
    <!-- <command id="CONSOLE">
    <conditions>
    <operands>
    <button ctrl="true" channel="b"/>
    </operands>
    </conditions>
    </command> -->

      Hmm, as a joke I made everything hostile to each other. But it seems same factions can't hate each other... But what happened was that after I left tutorial the 'coin guards' murdered Kurt. But not the citizens. I wonder if Citizens are a part of another faction I missed?

      I'm trying all sorts of mix and match but i can only make all existing factions hostile to the player and his companions, but not factions hostile within itself, I can't tell between factions since Nauts are the only other factions in town but they are far away that they do not chase guards.

      And since the player's faction is Merchant, it stays at Suspicious and can't go hostile.
      Oh wait I broke the tutorial combat factions... The target won't attack me now.

      EDIT: I only managed to make all factions attack the player faction, but not each other.
      I believe that 'special' npcs like citizens and NPCs that has a role in buildings are not a part of said 'hostile' factions.
      The actual guards in New Serene that aggroed me are the NPCs that spawns and patrols the streets, the guards that stands at the mansion don't count, and the guards in the barracks don't count.

      The Nauts also do not aggro me, those are stationary ones at the Port. So that means the 'hostile' nauts standing in faction zones are the actual NPCs that are able to aggro.

    It works with active save but there's a bug.
    1st IF you respec (use memory crystal) even once in your playtrough (before or after mod install) you'll lose the bonus forever. PS: You will lose the bonus too if you press reset on character creation
    2nd IF you have already put a point into one, for example, you put one into charisma it'll stay at 1, not 2.
    3rd IF you use equipment that adds talent, please remove it before installing this mod or it'll bug your character. For example, I use starter hat that adds +1 intuition and never adds a point to it. after that I installed this mod, my intuition is 1 but the equipment bonus is bugged after that you will not get the talent bonus, it does not matter if you equip or unequip the item, the bonus from the said item is bugged. maybe forever. after that I tried to use 2 different capes for testing purpose, the 1st cape bonus is bugged, but after changing to the 2nd one, I got +1 charisma.

    So, this mod only give 1 shot bonus either at character creation or in-game before you use memory crystal,

      Thanks for the testing! Great info. I only ran a cursory test on a new and an active save. I will update description based on your data and keep the "use at own risk" warning up. Also I'll keep on looking through various files to see if I can nullify those bugs and see how we can actually add points at level up (which is what I actually want to do). I'm hoping one or more of us will find the level up parameters soon and also corresponding files to edit to remove bugs from existing mods, there seems to be several mods that need multiple file edits to get fully working properly but most haven't found them all yet. Thank you for finding me some good info on what I might actually be looking for in the files.

      Nice mod idea, thanks! Just what I needed - I felt a bit boxed in with the Talents for my character.

      Concerning the glitches/bugs: I discovered during the creation of my character with this mod installed that if I hit reset after my initial Talent choice, the Mod's points will go away and not be available. So from the onset the game will default to the base values.

      Yup, it's a known bug unfortunately. There's several other conditions that cause glitches as well. I'm still poking around to see if I can find a way to add talents and attributes or set the cost to 0 for the initial level of each. I know how to set skills to lower values (or zero as I did with the first three of the skills in each tree in my own game). I also know how to multiply bonus xp to rapidly level up but that doesn't really help me with adding more points it just gives quicker access to default level ups. But I was able to go from level 6 to level 15 by killing a couple of chickens, a fox and a deer which was quite funny going up two levels for one dead chicken lol. I'll keep poking around and see what I can do. I really want to get attributes and talents going but I'm also poking around in item stats and sell prices and trading variables to see about making more cash in game. My scatter brain is slowing me down lol.

      How do you "multiply bonus xp"? That would be a interesting mod that one could install at the beginning and then un-install later to help give your character a boost without grinding so much.
