Storm87's Capes and Armor Fixes
IMPORTANT: Be sure to check out Storm87's Consistent Armor Sets if you wish to expand this mod even further!
Due to developers' oversight, some capes and outfits use incorrect normal map textures. This mod will fix these issues and give your clothes and armor pieces their intended look. I'll attempt to fix any buggy outfit I came across.
Update 1: I finally fixed one of the most severely bugged .pssg containers. File with a female version of 2B (blue) armor upgrade for heavy Coin Guard boots contained not only model of grieves themselves, but also a complete model of guard outfit - with boots, cuirass and gloves. This "fake" outfit clipped through any armor set that player or companion character was wearing at the moment.
Update 2: Another day, another bugged .pssg container fixed. Same story as before. It turned out, that model of pauldron upgrade 3B for female version of Theleme priest robe had some "extra" meshes, that would clutter your character and clip through her outfit. I found that bug purely by checking for .pgz archives of abnormal sizes. And I believe that's (hopefully) the last of them.
Update 3: Dozens of armor upgrades for boots and gloves (female only) had color overlay enabled. This would cause them to change their color according to CustomShiftColor parameter of your currently worn chestpiece. I presented only a few examples of this bug on the attached screenshots, but I fixed 45(!) buggy .pssg containers in total.
Update 4: Top quality heavy armor (male version) of Green-Azure Regiment has been using model of the lowest quality one, and vice versa. Models are now swapped.
Update 5: Dozens of fixes for medium and heavy De Vespe Spadassin Armor sets. Both male and female version. Almost all issues, like clipping, over- / undersized or "floating" armor upgrades, are now fixed. You gonna LOVE your new Spadassin Armor! Another 12 armor upgrades (medium and heavy Congregation armor, female) have CustomShiftColor parameter removed. Textures fixed for Confessor's Ceremonial Hammer. 107 files modified in total.
Installation:
Unpack "equipment" folder from the archive and place it into Your "datalocal" folder, typically located at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GreedFall
Compatibility:
This mod will override numerous .pgz files in the following directories:
equipment\huf\cra
equipment\hum\bod
equipment\hum\boo
equipment\hum\clo
equipment\hum\cra
equipment\wea
I'm not aware of any other mods that could be using these files, so it should be perfectly safe.
