But I have a new issue...my FPS drops progressively until it reaches the point of 3/4 FPS when in reality is a constant of 60 FPS (without sprinting). I mean with the mod installed, if a sprint within seconds my FPS drops, it fixes itself after a minute or 2 of keep playing...but it's really anoying...
It's not working with the 1.400 update and I'm not sure why. I'm looking through the codes for Graveyard Keeper and Sprint and QModManager and I'm just thoroughly confused.
Okay, I figured out why. With the new update, the game is using a new version of Unity and the new Unity comes with a new UI system control, so once I figure it out I'll update again.
So I can't fix this mod until QModManager is updated because of dependencies and Harmony and Unity and all that other fun programming stuff. But I can help you walk a little faster in GK with this mod. Hope it helps for now. We're working on things so play some other games and it'll all be up and running before you know it.
That's a good suggestion, I won't be updating this again soon but I'll make a note of this for when I do have time to make another pass through updating my mods, it's a great idea!
I don't have a gamepad to test with but I wouldn't mind learning to add controller/gamepad support. If you'd be up for being a tester for it let me know and I can send you the files to try out and upload to nexus when we have a winner. If you're interested look for me on the discord here: https://discord.gg/RhJ8w4F
Thanks for this mod! It works great and I couldn't play without it.
One question; is it possible to rebind the key? I have it set to toggle and 0 energy use (I just want to walk a bit faster) but the shift key is also used to move stacks between inventories. So basically I toggle the sprint function off every time I move stacks. Not a big deal but with how much inventory management this game has, it becomes a bit of an annoyance after a while.
Thanks for the comment! It's possible to make a rebindable version but the GYK modding community is small enough that there's not much incentive to make the kind of library that does this cleanly. I'll make a note of it for when I have a chance to revisit these mods to see about adding something but don't expect anything soon!
I have it on Toggle It doesnt stop at 0 Energy you can just keep sprinting but eating stuff afterwars doesnt fill up the bar
EDIT: If you run for too long you have to sleep for multiple days straight to the point where you get exhausted at this point you should gt up and go back to sleep immediately otherwhise you get a net negative in energy through sleep
could you do a "no energy" version? but sleeping fixes it it just tales longer to sleep
I think the bar is allowed to go negative so its not really an exploit since you have to pay it back eventually
EDIT 2: if you have iot toggled it sips power by the second not the distance If you leave it on and go to sleep your still loose energy by the second so sleepig takes super long
One other person has reported a similar issue with it and I'll investigate this weekend and see if I can track down the cause. In the meantime if you can provide the following info that would be great!
-The full path to your graveyard keeper directory (including which drive - C,D,etc). - In your GraveyardKeeper_Data\Managed directory do you see the files 0Harmony.dll, QModInstaller.dll, and QModManager.exe? - Please send me a screenshot of your Sprint directory from explorer like this: https://imgur.com/a/cctY7gVso I can verify the installer didn't mess up the folder names or something.
Try downloading QMods manager version 1.2. It fixed this issue for the majority of people experiencing it. Please let me know if it is still not working as expected.
Edit: Pay attention to the updated install directions. You'll need to adjust the configuration file included most likely.
