Personally, I'm fine with most of the audio quality, aside from the dialogue. Ryder's voice in particularly sounds crunchy as all hell. Is it possible for that to be improved?
Indeed it is. There's several options that I know of:
IzoTope RX8's Spectral Recovery is one I can do right now, but doesn't always have the best results. Otherwise, Audio Super Resolution with Neural Networks is an actual thing I've been looking into as well.
meowsandstuff Since you are a VR player, you know that with the game being on Unreal Engine, using a program like UEVR allows us to play it in VR, right? Isn't that extremely awesome! Being on Unreal Engine alone, makes it a superior version. The originals weren't perfect either. But now, with the DE the potential of modding and enhancing the game in many aspects is way more and way better.
There's already a mod indev to do proper native-style VR on the original trilogy, just not out yet. Definitive Edition being on UE does not make it better.
maybe at least write on the front page "UPDATE BROKE MOD* or somethin so people dont waste their time? I mean.... you're writing in the comment section. It could really save people a lot of time....including yourself
*EDIT* nope i installed it and seems to be working fine for me too. I guess I wouldn't notice if sounds are missing tho but still - mod definitely still works!
