Hi, I am brand new to modding ReLink. I only have this mod and the PS4 button prompts installed; I am using the mod loader and GBFR.

The PS4 mod is working but this one is not. The game loads it just doesn't skip the logos or news. I saw something about merging mods. Is that
required in order to use more than one mod?

    Thank you for your time.

Merging only applies to manually-installed mods.

Make sure you installed the Reloaded version of this mod, and enabled it in Reloaded under the game.

I am using the mod loader and GBFR.
GBFR is the game... If you mean GBFRelinkFix, use the ASI loader method in Reloaded

Hi, recently updated the game to version 1.21 and started playing for the first time, I've installed the latest mod manager (v 1.09) and tried v.1.02 of the skip intro mod through Reloaded though it hasn't worked. Any extra steps I should be doing?

No extra steps required if based on the setup guide over at Installing Mods - Granblue Fantasy - Relink Modding (nenkai.github.io). What happens when you try to launch from Reloaded? Game does not boot? Game does not skip the intros?

Since it seems it is your first time playing the game, I also recommend trying the manual version for now.  Ensure your game install is clean, then paste the contents of manual version into it.

This so you can verify where it's failing. If manual version works then there's something in the setup of Reloaded that isn't working.

Thanks for replying, managed to get it to work after I checked Reloaded II's settings and turned off the "Don't Inject Loader" option. Initially the game could launch but it didn't skip the intros. Seems to have no issues now.

Hi! so Idk if I'm just stupid and can't follow instructions or what but basically I want to do the merge thingy right, and I follow the steps, so when putting new mods do I just copy the data folder and never put the data.i file?

Yes to both. No need to include data.i from other mods. (Though I don't think any other modders include data.i anyway). And you can copy the contents of data folder of other mods into your game install's data folder then merge it all yourself.

But you do still need a clean data.i in your game install folder before executing the merge command. Make a backup of the clean copy and just copy paste it whenever executing the merge command. It's really required and it's what the mod manage does as well.

The Reloaded II version won´t work for me on game version 1.1.3.

Both Reloaded or Manual version should still work on game version 1.1.3.

What exactly happens? Game does not launch? Game launches normally and not skipping?

If you were using older versions of GBFR Utility Manager then that could be causing issues as well unrelated to the mod itself. Releases · WistfulHopes/gbfrelink.utility.manager (github.com) Download the latest version and delete the one inside your Reloaded folder. i.e. ReloadedII\Mods\gbfrelink.utility.manager. You may also want to delete data.i in your game install > verify file integrity via Steam to get a clean copy.

If you are not using any other mods, then try using the manual version only for simpler process.

Yeah I've been at it on and off for quite some time. Trying to skip that animation is turning out to be way trickier.

Commenting to let people know the update to Ver. 1.1.1 broke the mod.

Even on v1.0.3 of gbfrelink.utility.manager it still works for me. Important thing was removing the orig_data.i found in ReloadedII\Mods\gbfrelink.utility.manager\ folder. Because if you did not, and you successfully updated the game, the mod manager will then attempt to use an old version of data.i, this being orig_data.i, to overwrite the new one.

And gathering the discussion from mod discord, what the update really affected were files related to model mods. Which is what v1.0.4 addresses.

Edit: My bad, if you were using the non-Reloaded version then yes it will likely break. I'm still waiting if there would be any updates on GBFRDataTool before uploading the new data.i.

But do consider using the Reloaded version.

Powershell should still work. For command prompt, type cmd in the address bar in the File Explorer that is already on game install directory. Or you could also just open a command prompt from start menu and manually navigate to the game install directory.

Thank you for the great mod !!!

The game was updated to ver 1.0.5, so does this mod work for 1.0.5 ?
If not, could you please upload "data.i" file for 1.0.5 ?
-> The mod works fine for ver 1.0.5 (tested)

I wonder if new "data.i" file should be needed whenever the game is updated to new ver.
-> If so, should I use manager ver instead of "manual ver" ? (to avoid waiting for new "data.i" file)

Yes, it works even on 1.0.5. As long as the old data.i is working I don't plan to update it yet. I assume it will only fail when the game actually gets new content and then I will try and upload on the new version.
