Version 2.1.2
- - The game no longer hangs when NPCs try to read a note while sitting (this was often the case, especially with Jarvis).
- - The key found in the ruin now actually opens the chest in the room (requires restarting the mod to take effect!)
- - A tree next to the ruin that was floating far above the ground has been placed correctly (requires restarting the mod to take effect!)
-
Version 2.1.1
- - Achievement: 'An apple a day' has been fixed and it needs less apples then before
- - Unconscious characters do now equip ranged weapons and shields (shields sadly don't always work) after they stand up, also they take them from their enemies
-
Version 2.1.0
- You can find the German changelog here: https://forum.worldofplayers.de/forum/threads/1593322-Changelog-Velen-2-0-Version-2-1-0?p=26984290&viewfull=1#post26984290

- - Leroy no longer says "[...] brothers and sisters [...]" during his speech, but now pronounces the word "brothers" correctly without an N at the end

- - The sound effects of thunder and rain have been replaced with better sounds
- - Sounds for accepting, completing and canceling quests and leveling up have been replaced with custom versions

- - The model of the weapon Wolf Knife ("Sharp Knife") has been replaced by a new, nicer version

- - The cauldron has been fixed so that the focus name of it no longer hovers in front of the cauldron, also it can now be used from all sides
- - The shield combat animation has been completely replaced and now adapts to the current combat talent or the current combat animation of the respective character, among other things
- - The lumberjacks now have their own, more fitting animation instead of just using the one from digging ore; focus names of the trees they are working on are now displayed further down, the trees are also now usable from all sides and the sides that are not currently being worked on are still usable, even if the tree is currently in "use
- Textures
- - The textures of the bandit armor have been replaced with their own darker versions
- - The iron ore texture has been replaced so that it no longer looks like silver
- - All loading screens and the background in the main menu have been replaced
- Game worlds
- - The path network in both worlds has been expanded and partially reworked so that characters now rarely have wayfinding problems and should also appear a bit smarter when running
- - Rabbits and rats have been added and distributed on Velen
- - Some graves have been distributed that can be looted
- - Some of the dead soldiers lying around on Velen can now be looted
- - Another variant of grass was created and distributed in the world, containing several different flowers instead of just dandelions
- - The collision of all clotheslines has been removed
- - Removed the collision from all carpets, because characters and the player himself often got stuck on them
- - Removed the invisible vein of ore that for some reason was lying around on the small beach near the harbor town and was usable
- - Placed some collectible items in the harbor town pub and also in the fortress pub; the harbor town pub also got some more furnishings so that it doesn't look quite so empty anymore
- - A new workbench with its own animation, where the bowsman works and where you can also carve bolts and arrows, has been added and distributed in the world.

- - The blacksmith Albrecht can now no longer be approached for the blunt axes of the lumberjacks if you have not accepted this order
- - An additional sentence at Boris, if you were defeated by him in battle, which you never got to hear before due to a bug, is played now
- - Armors and helmets displayed in merchant inventories no longer use a very messy detour; among other things, this ensures that they can no longer get some strange arrangement in those now
- - The fences in the sewers now wear the same armor as the bandits on Fence Island, since they actually belong together
- - The material of the iron ore item has been changed so that it no longer has a shiny effect and no longer has a metallic sound effect when thrown away
- - When talking to Jack, the player character now actually turns to the door instead of the bookstand
- - Fixed the AI dropout that occurred in the original game when characters drew a ranged weapon while saving and reloading, causing them to just stand around with the weapon in their hands and not react otherwise
- - Fixed a bug from the original game that caused the player to simply use sideways running and jumping as an alternative to sneaking
- - Helmets that caused characters to have their protection values permanently transferred to them after the first save and reload have been fixed
- - When characters use items during a dialogue, they now temporarily break visual contact with the other person, so that they no longer simply shove items, such as food, partially into their heads
- - The convict clothing has been renamed to "Old Rag Pants".
- - The wolf knife has been renamed to "Sharp Knife".
- - Quiver items have been renamed to bundles of arrows or bundles of bolts; it is also now easy to see what size each is
- - Characters now collect shields from their victims or after unconsciousness, if there is one lying around, instead of just leaving them lying around
- - The difficulty level in the main menu is now correctly set back to "Normal" after starting a new game (which would be the mod's default), instead of easy

- - The range of melee weapons is now additionally displayed
- - The whole menu has been reworked; info texts have been adjusted, the mod settings menu has been completely rewritten and is now much clearer

- - Added a new option in the mod settings that allows hiding the focus names of characters (this is disabled by default).
- - It is now possible to display all status bars on the left, on the right or as in the original game; for this a new option has been added in the mod settings

- - The player can now get the pirate armor that the player character wears in the intro
- - Hoods and masks have been added and given to some characters; the player can get these as well
- - The shovel is now usable similar to a broom, rake, lute, etc.
- - Leroy no longer entertains the port city all day long, but takes a longer break after each speech; when the player is in a dialogue, he doesn't talk in between at all anymore
- - Some characters have been assigned a new daily routine that lets them eat while sitting down
- - When receiving experience points, the experience needed to reach the next level is now always displayed underneath; the same applies when you have climbed a level, then the experience needed for the next level is displayed
- - Both script packages LeGo and Ikarus have been updated to the latest version for better stability
