It seems Gothic Definitive Edition still has bugs. Or it`s just my setup. Every time I switch weapons A couple of times, the game crashes. It may be because I am using the Community Patch. The crash might not happen to you. The CP is supposed to work with all mods. Testing without CP now.
If you can`t find an apple for Baloros quest, try sneaking in houses and looting them. Or you can insert an apple by pressing "B" type in "marvin" no quotes. then type in insert itfoapple. This quest can not be completed if you join the old camp. Not sure about the other 2 camps.
EDIT: I found an apple for Baloros quest. There is A camp on the left when you are heading to the Freemine. It`s on the ground there.
