I am using the latest version of the game on steam, if you meant version of the mod I am using " Heavy Rain - Standard (Standalone) "
Edit: I have no other mods installed apart from what was inside the " Heavy Rain - Standard (Standalone) " folder.
Edit 2: I disabled AMDs Anti-lag and Image Sharpening options and changed from " Heavy Rain - Standard (Standalone) " to " Heavy Rain - Standard (Standalone) - Compatible "
Did switching to the compatible version help? Some people have reported that there are sections of the game that aren't affected by this mod - haven't noticed myself yet.
Yes :) the Standard (Standalone) version just wasn't working for me (apart from working in the loading screen for some reason) - the Compatible version works great and I can actually see the difference in both the loading menu and gameplay. Also reenabled Anti-Lag and Image Sharpening so it looks like my problem had something to do with the Standalone version.
Hi guys, dumb question perhaps but after downloading "Heavy Rain - Standard (Standalone)" it no longer rain in my game ? Or i miss understood something ? Perhaps, one of many night there is no rain ? I must say i put all files directly in the mod folder (not even with folder mod name)
Basically, they are mods that improve combat, motorcycle and travel speed. Also some of costumes, standard Batman for jason todd, catwoman for batgirl, and robin akrham city costume I'm also using the batwing instead of the drone I'm using the following mods:
hey, dumb question, any chance this could work for downgraded? i hate to ask but right now I can either use this or use half of my outfit mods, since most modders didn't try to update when things broke.
no problem then i suppose. sorry then. i know it's obnoxious to have people ask for downgraded compact, but WB really fucked the mods here. i either choose recent stuff and lose half my mods, or I chose half my mods and lose out on new innovative stuff.
FINALLY someone who works on the weather in this game (again). Ty!
It's early in the morning for me and maybe I'm just stupid but does this mod only increace the fog density in the game or does it increace the rain density / add more rain to the game too?
Is standart version the normal fog with more rain already and then there optional files to increace the fog desnity too + more rain?
Like I said I'm a little bit tired...and no time at the moment...maybe I read it wrong - just wanted to make sure what this mod exactly does :P
The standard/standalone version has heavy fog, increased rain particles and makes it always rain heavy. You can't use the modules to adjust this version.
The modular version is just the standard mod divided into modules. For example, Base Weather Preset, Base Precipitation and Heavy Fog Module would result in the same effect as the standard version.
Ok na got good hardware. I was just wondering if it doesn't have an performance impact why the devs didn't turn up thje rain / fog particles in the vanilla game than? I mean the old batman games got more rain too! Must be a visual decision than - maybe for gameplay overview or something idk^^
Man is single-handedly carrying GK modding on his back, might as well as carry the game itself on his back as well. This mod is INVALUABLE for the atmosphere.

I will release a version that uses a different ID soon.
edit: I discovered the problem, the catwoman mod was in conflict with the rain mod. Now it works fine :)
You'll be missing out on the dense fog preset but for now that's it.
