Loving your mods but I was wondering if I could trouble you for some help? I reverted my game to the December version but I can't seem to get this suit to show up in game,
If I use your older files I can use the one with a ponytail but not the 2.0 version even if I use the reverted folder, would you mind double checking the upload? thx for your time!
Excuse me, sorry to bother you but does this mod work post 25 April 2023? I haven't had any luck with it. Would it be asking to much for an updated version, I know that at this point it feels like the developers are purposely updating and breaking mods, whenever the amount of mods get out of hand.
I'm dying inside. Listen, I can't play that game without your mod. It's the only mod that I care about. I'm begging you, help...at the very least, is there anyway I can help. Maybe, some tutorials I can watch and learn how to update your mod for you.
I can't. They switched to a system that has so far the world community does not have a way of decrypting.
There are no tutorials because nobody knows how to do it yet. You can search up "ucas" and "ucot."
You'll have to wait for enough Unreal *5* games to come out, enough popularity so that people can research, because they are using a UE5 method. So it could be months to years?
3. Copy the files you downloaded in the Gotham Knights folder and override everything
4. go to "Steam\steamapps\common\Gotham Knights\Mercury\Content\Paks" and delete all .ucas and .utoc files so that only pakchunk0-WindowsNoEditor.pak is left
5.Create in "Steam\steamapps\common\Gotham Knights\Mercury\Content\Paks" the folder "~mods" (without the ") and copy your mods in this folder.
Because I figured out how to do it myself. I'm the only person who can provide a tutorial on how to do what I did.
I intentionally avoided outside help and outside tutorials because figuring things out myself provides not merely knowledge of how to do something. By figuring out for myself, I gain understanding of why things work the way they work. Somewhat like reverse engineering.
This understanding lets me create new "hows" that only exist in my brain.
Respect. Thank you for all your hard work and the surplus of information you just provided me. Hopefully one day their will come a way to mod this back into the game. Until then, I'm going to shelf this game.
I learn on the fly well and spend a lot of time poring over how other do things (good at reverse-engineering.. or rather, investigative/detective work).
Also, I like figuring things out myself because I gain alot more understanding. I literally avoided help or other modders lol because I wanted that. (I actually have philosophical thoughts on the nature of education lol)
...And actually is the first time I've released mods online. And I started texturing/personal modding the summer of last year.
One thing I do is try something new every time I do something. In other words I learn something new every time.
I do have a moderate background in A/V and mild programming experience. And just a lot of time spent on the computer.
Also, I really like learning. This is because I avoided boring school assignments and learned stuff for fun. Like ignoring Tale of Two Cities so I could read as much sci-fi/fantasy I could at the library. Eventually I hit Lord of the Rings when I was ~13. School makes you dislike learning and that's the whole problem.
Awesome mod! Love it so much. One question. Is it possible to make it work with (nexusmods.com/gothamknights/mods/271) I mean make your cape appear only when gliding.
Yes and No lol. I'll have to add that to this one manually. But it's super easy, and I already gave permission for modders to just stick this change in their recipe.

This mod changes parts from Batgirl's Knight-Ops suit. Are you running any mods that would conflict with that?
Edit: ...Actually I will make a collection of these.. and stuff them into my Portfolio hahaha. I'll include every single praise too XD jk.
I have not updated ANY of my mods past the December patch. Not a single one of my mods work without having the December files.
This is because everything I do is founded on editing data. This is not a graphics mod. Just like all of my "graphics" mods, they are data mods.

There are no tutorials you can follow.

I'll put it up real soon.
