I've been looking to bring my Kratos's old beard back but I wanted only the beard change but since there was only a paid one, I decided to try my hand at making it myself xD
It's my first time trying this so I used some references from R4v3nB14ck's mod and it's not that bad I guess, so I decided to share it for those who need it.

Weird beard fix
Having ANISOTROPIC FILTERING below "ORIGINAL" may make Kratos beard look weird. If you still having this beard issue set "Anisotropic Filtering" to "Application Controlled" in Nvidia Control Panel.
How to Install
Go into your games folder( where the GoW.exe is), you'll see a folder named "exec" go into that folder and past the "patch" folder there.
Now go back to the "exec" folder, you'll see a "boot-options.json" file, open in with notepad or any other text editor and go to the bottom
of the code where you'll find "patch_textpacks" line, no inside the open brackets add ( "../../patch/pc_le/Goatee" ).
It should end up looking like this ( "patch-texpacks": ["../../patch/pc_le/Goatee"], ).
Now save the file and your set.
Have fun Guys
