No, I don't think that's correct. When using DLSSTweaks, and enabling the debug HUD, it clearly shows that sharpness is completely disabled when setting the in-game DLSS Sharpness slider to 0. Any higher value enables sharpening like you'd expect. So yes, this mod is obsolete.
The pics you put in preview don't show anything. Literally both off and on looks the same. This is only broke the game, that's it. Sharpening in dlss s#*! is necessary, even on 4K. If you don't want it, simply turn off the dlss thing as it's only decrasing your visual quality for the performance.. without sharpness, dlss looks blury and shitty on any resolution. It exist for a reason.
I showed how it is installed and not how it works after. Sometimes you need to understand this video review option. Not everyone understands how to install and many do not trust what the author offers

-Download nvngx_dlss.dll from somewhere like https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/ and replace it.
Here's a comparison gif for those who can't tell the difference:
Look at the branches in the middle, the sharpening adds a halo artifact around all edges.
