Thanks for this and the DOF mod, just a suggestion, if you can copy over this direction (how to use low fog with no DOF) over to the main description page, it would probably help a lot of people.
yeah so far your mods have been fixing stuff i've been complaining about in gow. I was wondering though since you might know a little or alot about the files. Do you think its possible to do texture mods?
try the loader method, I believe it worked with it or maybe it was another game? But yeah try the 3dmigotoloader method might work then. Use the new loader file. Remember to uninstall the old mod completely. Extract the loader onto desktop or somewhere else which is not the game folder. And then run the loader. And then run the game while dxvk is installed I hope it works test it!
I don't quite understand the need and want to remove anything that add to the atmosphere of the game and also helps to hide the ugly far rendered textures. But +1 for the effort I guess.
Is there any need for justification in modding games? No, thus a mod is just a mod. There is no need, but there might be wants for whatever reason :P Look at this mod, do I understand why he did that? No! Does that even matter? Again no :P
Have you even played this game ? lol, there is a huge justification to remove DOF, they made the game so pretty but some ass wipe decided everything more than 2 ft should be blurred, because this is a console port, they didn't bother to add an option to turn off DOF, the fog as well, I rather see more of the pretty graphics than just a bunch of white fog. These mods are quite essential imo.
@leeyuan03 excuse me, what? quite essential? You're joking right? A think you don't like means that is not essential to the game, I was talking about FOG, not DOF at all but okay. If you like when the game looks like it's made in 2008 because of missing atmospheric effect, please be my guest. You should also probably hate fog in real life just because it happens and it BELONGS to game's world. Essential lmao...
@Poponos Well this isn't a real mod, rather just a removal, though in this game it's completely necessary. The DoF I can understand some people might not like but fog? Might as well remove water and lighting effects. It ruins the whole mood of the game.
No one's forcing you to download and use the mod. People can customize the game they paid for however they want, especially when it's a singleplayer offline game. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean no one else does either. Does me using this mod impact your personal experience with the game whatsoever? No? Then shut up.

I use DXVK to fix stutters for God of War on my computer. and it uses the same files as it

Doing a Steam Deck setup and wondering should I switch to the new one, not sure on the pros and cons right now.
But +1 for the effort I guess.
