Thanks so much for this man absolute gamechanger! baffling me why on earth they released the game with those default settings. The fov is F awful one of the worst its like dead rising 3's. And all the filmgrain and chromatic and motionblur all that s#*! just ruins the game. This is by far the most impactful change using this mod it looked so soft before and there was just way too many effects and stuff going on it hurt my eyes. way sharper i can read the cans in the vending machines and the cats dont look like torches, I have disabled motionblur and filmgrain and chromatic then enabled compass plus put this mod on then i used flawless widescreen and set the fov to +15. it honestly feels like im playing a new game i only wish i looked for this earlier instead of going through so much torture lol. I mean having extra settings is always a good thing i just think the lack of a fov slider and the default settings where so dumb...

Is there any way to adjust FOV with the engine.ini?

Bit late to the party, I know - but Flawless Widescreen has a profile for G:T with FOV adjustment.

Definitely late, beat the trilogy for a second time, but thank you for answering.  Others may see this and benefit.  Kudos!

    Hey there,

I've tried enabling your engine.ini tweaks, but I've noticed some new artifacts on the ground as a result of this. It looks like noise/flickering, also visible on the cables later in the video below.

Any ideas on what could be causing it?

Got the same, found a fix:

Reshade 4.9.1. Maybe also works with 5.0 or 5.0.1 but using 5.0.2 breaks your FPS due to the low GPU usage. I did not test other versions than 4.9.1 since I only had this and 5.0.2. You're welcome.

4.9.1 fixed it for me - went from 70fps to 115fps....

I think the game default is already good without reshade, what we truly need, is a performance boost mod

Jesus, that's such a strong implementation. And here I thought Elden Ring was going to be the worst offender all year.
