Beside subjective of personal taste, I knew that so many type and models of Monitors/TVs out there. LCD/LED/OLED/QLED ; IPS/TN/VA... etc. And they have their own characteristic (from neutral colors to vibrant colors, high to low gamma/black levels/white point, etc).
Therefore I made a simple adjustment UI for this mod. You can adjust Dark Level, Light Intensity, Color Saturation, etc.by press END keyboard button to show-up Reshade UI. Just adjust the value to matching with your current screen (Monitor/TV) profile or fit with your taste/liking.
You can create your own various presets based on this custom shader.
Also, the 3D Stereoscopic mode optimized for LG 3D Cinema Screen (e.g LG OLED 65E6P, passive 3D screen; top-bottom), for other 3D screen (e.g Sony and Samsung) or VR (e.g Guy Godin's Virtual Desktop with Oculus Rift/Rift S/Quest/Quest 2 ~ Theater mode) you may change 3D stereoscopic format mode from top-bottom to side by side (SBS) from this UI to get better 3D Depth perception.
Hey there, I dragged and dropped the extracted files from the folders to my game's exe location but when I run the game, the reshade is not active at all (pressing END and INSERT also doesn't show anything). Do I have to have rehsade installed as well? The instructions says not to
Please keep in mind that I made this custom shader as nuetral as I can, so it can appears well in various type and models of monitor/TV. But you may create various preset profile that match with your own liking / taste from this custom shader.
This is an example and shader settings from my friend (thank you, Jack!). He loves to see more creepy / horror vibe (darker and gloomy). Dark Level = +0.046 ; Light Intensity = - 0.200; Color Saturation = -0.500
ps. but you will need to activate flash light in some dark area by pressing keyboard button X; with this scary preset settings.
Your settings might different than his settings or mine. So, don't hesitate to create your own settings with your style/your liking! ;)
It loads now but I still get an error saying "Unable to save current preset. Make sure you have write permissions to Snowfall\Binaries\Win64\crubino.ini". Should it maybe not be set to read only ?
PS. It looks fantastic but I need to be able to adjust the slider for the brightness and I get it to where it's perfect but it won't save it, just pops up the error I listed above.
I was try to install this mod in my other PC, and It run fine; maybe you can try these options to solve it: option #1 (re-install my mod/update it): - move to a temporary folder; these files and folder: dxgi.dll, dxgi.ini, reshade.ini and \simple-realistic\ folder - re-extract the version 1.01 files and folder to your Ghostwire folder (\Ghostwire - Tokyo\Snowfall\Binaries\Win64\) - run the game - if everything run well, then you may delete that previous temporary folder.
options #2 (create your own preset file): - if you still get write permissions problem that make you cannot save your mod settings, you may create your own preset by press + on right-top Reshade UI - name the preset as you like it (e.g test.ini), then press enter - activate GhostwireTokyo.fx by give a check mark on it.
I'm only getting this error from this reshade, I have tried all the other reshades for this game on nexus and this is the 1st I have seen this type of error. I know how to install reshade just fine, I use it on Cyberpunk, The Outer Worlds and Elder Scrolls Online :)
Okay saving the preset under another name worked :) Thank you so much for all the help to get this working. It looks awesome now and no fps loss! I love I was able to adjust the settings slightly and the white is no longer too bright or the colors over saturated. Thanks again ! Endorsed !

or just delete reshade.ini
Ok, I've updated it to V1.01 now it doesn't include reshade.ini file for installation.
