This is such a life saver for me, after the september 20th patch I basically cant mod the game with anvil so this is rly great. I have a personal request that I dont expect you to do but ill ask either way. Is there any chance you could upload a version of these files with the "No ADS Zoom" mod by ufotofu99? heres a link to the mod, like i say i dont expect you to bother but I thought id ask as im unable to mod my game using anvil anymore.
I expected this mod to conflict with many of my existing mods, but wanted to see what it offered. I made backups of the two files, and tried it. It has some okay changes, but not worth it IMO with my current mod list. What I was NOT EXPECTING was for this mod to BREAK my save file. It unlocked everything and after reverting back ALL OF MY BLUEPRINTS AND COSMETIC UNLOCKS ARE GONE. 100+ Hour character with no way to get the items back, all chests have been looted, all rewards obtained with no way to re-acquire. HARD PASS ON THIS MOD. I have come to learn if the mod doesn't have the individual buildtables, or data files....do not bother or trust it. (Obviously I don't think was intentional by the author, however I am extremely upset, and I hope to save others from a similar fate.)(Only seems to have affected my primary character I logged into the game with when checking out the mod, if you do decide to test it PLEASE AT MINIMUM USE A NEW CHARACTER SLOT.)
Your character can be recovered. NOT telling you what to do but this is what I did. I deleted the character then opened a ticket with ubi to say I lost the character. I provided the last day and time the character worked. This is actually a know bug of the first character slot but should not matter. I had my character back in two weeks.
If you install the Unlock Everything mod to your save, you'll get it all back. In addition, you can install other mods on top of it, with no conflicts.
From what I can tell the unlock everything mod is probably the culprit that caused the issue, at least from the posts on that mod. I intentionally chose not to install that mod, because a small sense of progression is nice for me to have while playing and opted for raid timesavers and other for the things I wanted, but could not get. I think OP used those files in his mod which caused the issue.
FYI the unlock everything mod. kills the raid timesavers mod. The raid timesavers will no longer work as the game thinks you already have the items. Even if you revert back to vanilla without the unlock everything mod. I learned the hard way.
Unfortunately, there's a possibility that this mod will conflict with other mods. My recommendation is to install this mod to a vanilla install to avoid any issues.
ah ok thanks, i was fearing it was on my end, just got it set up perfectly for a Cole Walker outfit just needed the wolves pants from yours. thanks for the input
unpack the modded file from anvil and pick what files you like but youl have to find out what the files are you need. its possible but a b&@*$ to. name one item you want and ill take a look
