Is cheat engine safe? Im worried im gonna leave it open in the backround and launch a seperate game like r6 or cod and end up banned even though its only for this game
When I try to start the game, I press spacebar to connect to Ubisoft, my game essentially just crashes/freezes and I can't even exit the application. I have to restart my entire computer. This only happens when I have the cheat engine attached. I'm on DX11 and I followed all the instructions, but it won't work. How do I fix this.
The game keeps on crashing when I try to select the process manually. If I select it automatically, it just freezes. I followed the instructions to the T so I don't know whats wrong
I wrote a cheatengine script for fixing the red dot FOV if you want to use it. This is for DX11 only. On the line "mov [rax+10],(float)1.25" change 1.25 to whatever you have your first person FOV modifier set to for the First Person View mod. It is 1.5 by default. This will work for almost everything, notably the aimpoint CompM4 still seems to be zoomed in, and there are one or two others that it doesn't catch.
[ENABLE] //code from here to '[DISABLE]' will be used to enable the cheat alloc(newmem,2048,"GRB.exe"+36E858C) label(returnhere) label(originalcode) label(exit) newmem: //this is allocated memory, you have read, write, execute access //place your code here cmp [rax+10],(float)0.6457718015 jne originalcode mov [rax+10],(float)1.25 originalcode: movss xmm0,[rax+10] exit: jmp returnhere "GRB.exe"+36E858C: jmp newmem returnhere:
[DISABLE] //code from here till the end of the code will be used to disable the cheat dealloc(newmem) "GRB.exe"+36E858C: db F3 0F 10 40 10 //movss xmm0,[rax+10]
EDIT: I kind of figured it out, but it seems like there's a limit. There's no value I can enter that removes all zoom for the EXPS/G33, unless I increase the first-person mod's FOV to like 0.7, which of course gives me vertigo.
I'm having trouble with the centering of the weapon being in first person. The laser and bullet aim at different locations. I recorded it to show. . :( (youtube.com)
The first person mod is a game changer and I loved it until i downloaded the "Lights and Lasers" mod and now the laser sight is permanently off center in 1st person. It worked perfectly fine before that mod and I was able to effectively use the laser sights seamlessly between 1st and 3rd person views. Now it being far askew breaks the immersion and ruins the fun. Even after uninstalling both mods and the entire game itself, its still stuck off center and the lasers are useless now in 1st person. Let me serve as a warning to people, combining 'First Person View' and 'Lights and Lasers' will mess up the laser sights PERMANENTLY
Really wish I knew how to fix this, 1st person with lasers was so fun
You sure everything was working correctly before you installed "lights and lasers"? Cause many people, including me, experience that problem without any additional mods but First Person View.
It's not, you've not followed the steps correctly and from the sounds of it, you've not opened the actual cheat engine file in cheat engine (hence no checkbox), so maybe try that.

there is no way to disable this "depth of field" effect that make ours lowered weapons blurry ?
sad there is no exe version (any special reason why?). Also.. is there a way to add ADS fov adjustment? cause ubisofts annoying ads fov is obnoxious.

I see videos of people clicking the square beside FirstPerson and it wont select for me.
A fix would be fantastic.
1. Open game folder and right click GRB.exe -> copy as path
2. Right click game in Steam and set launch option. Paste path and add %command% like so:
"E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ghost Recon Breakpoint\GRB.exe" %command%
3. Launch the game, check in task manager that GRB.exe is present and not GRB_vulkan.exe
4. Attach CT as per mod author instructions
You may need to swap in and out of ADS to fix when the camera appears inside player head, I think this was same for Wildlands.
