Big thank you to Spncryn for helping me figure out these buildtable edits and for contributing to almost all of the stock swaps

Installation Instructions:

It was recommended to me to move the Installation Instructions to the top so y'all don't have to scroll around looking for it

Each individual section is divided into what files go where. The name on the folder tells you where the modded folder needs to go

File Swap Tutorial - DataPC_Resources_patch_01
Installation:
  • Download and install AnvilToolkit.
  • Set up Anvil Toolkit, disable the use of compression in Settings->Files and set compression ratio to 0.
  • Unpack DataPC_Resources_patch_01.forge
  • Open Extracted folder in your GRB directory and open the DataPC_Resources_patch_01.forge folder.
  • Copy the .data folders into the DataPC_Resources_patch_01.forge/Extracted subfolder. If the Extracted subfolder doesn’t exist, create it. Your file path should look like Extracted/DataPC_Resources_patch_01.forge/Extracted/(your mod folders here)
  • Select the added folders in AnvilToolkit, right-click, and select "Repack" - you should see the message
Finished repacking data files | Successful: NN | Failed: 0
  • Head back up to the top-level Extracted folder in AnvilToolkit and click on DataPC_Resources_patch_01.forge
  • Right-click the folder, and select "Repack" - you should see the message
    Successfully written forge file!
  • After it's done repacking, you can delete the Extracted folder if you so desire. I don't recommend it, though, since there'll be more mods like this to come, and you'll probably want to install them!

v2.2 Update Changelog: LMGs getting some improvements

Weapon Specific Attachment swaps (Weapon tweaks file):

Mk48 SAW:

Replaced the MH1 optic with a digital scope.
Replaced grip-pod with grip-bipod combo
Replaced atpial laser with rangefinder with atpial combo

Mk48 Compact:

Went with a mk46 style update to the mk48 compact. Still uses 7.62 but has some unique features not on other mk48 variants

Changed weapon gunshot sound. Known issue: reload is now dead-silent

Added suppressor. Yeah, you read that right, suppressed LMG is back!! (yes it's actually suppressed, enemies don't hear it from far away). Comes with default 7.62 suppressor.

Changed the SLX5 optic to an AGOG optic
Changed EXPS1 (the EOtech) to the EXPSxG33 combo

Replaced grip-pod with grip-bipod combo

Replaced atpial laser with rangefinder with atpial combo

G36:

Replaced small and medium mags with PMAGs

Mk14 Assault

Replaced PTK angled foregrip with underbarrel shotgun

M4a1:

By popular demand, added a functional atpial laser to the rangefinder attachment. Rangefinder will be on the side, the laser will go wherever the laser usually goes. I can't guarantee that it won't be a bit funky for you. My files are modded to hell and back so testing to see if it works all of the time is difficult. If you have any issues, please reach out through discord on the Anvil toolkit server and I can try and walk you through fixing it yourself.

v2.1.5 Update Changelog: MCX Spear getting some love

New Weapons File

MCX Spear:

Added the G28 and T5xi scopes to the MCX replacing the ACOG and CompM4 scope.
They won't show up on the weapon in the gunsmith, but they should show up in-game

Please install both the weapon folder and the DB file. There are tweaks to the weapon folder from previous versions to allow for the new optics.

v2.1 Update Changelog: Magazines

New Attachment update (Attachment file):

Honey Badger:

DMR 20 Round mags:

1 DBContainer file updates all the standard DMR magazine sizes to 20 round capacity to better match actual weapons

Weapon Specific Attachment swaps (Weapon tweaks file):

M4a1 Tac overhaul: [Extraction 2 theme]

Changed out the handguard for the g28 scout
Added removable wrapped suppressor
Added full/semi auto trigger
Added Pmags
Changed the gunshot sound to the ACR gunshot sound
Removed the bipod and bipod+grip attachments and replaced them with an m203 and shotgun options.

Ak47 Scope Rail:

Appearance of the rail for scope mounting has been tied to whether or not an optic has been selected. If ironsights are the selected optic, the rail will vanish

Mk17 Family [Affects Mk17, Mk17 asu, Mk17 Scout and Mk17 Cqc]:

Changed the default magazine size options from 20, 30, and 50 rounds respectively to 10, 20, 30 rounds to better match the actual weapon
Note: The options in the gunsmith may say dmr mag or smg mag, ignore this, it does not change the appearance, just the ammo amount

Mk17 Scout:

Added a functioning top-mounted Atpial laser model to the laser rangfinder attachment. Please install both the DBContainer file and the normal weapon folder for this to work. The folder adds the model, the DBContainer file adds the functionality/laser beam.

Deagle Survivor:

Added sound change file to change the gunshot sound to the M110 gunshot sound

Added Semi/Full auto functionality

Added the option to quick remove/add suppressor
Suppressor note: I gave the weapon the default 50 cal suppressor. In order to not have a huge tube off the end of your weapon, please pair this with the 50cal to Deagle suppressor swap in the Weapon Attachments file

v2.0 Update Changelog: TRIGGERS!!

Welcome to v2.0!!

First off, I wanted to thank everyone for supporting this mod both through downloading, commenting, and posting pictures of you using it on the subreddit. Seeing the community enjoy my work really does make my day whenever I see it. Currently, this mod is the #10 most downloaded Breakpoint mod here on Nexus, I never could have imagined the amount of success that this mod has had. Thank you again, and I hope you continue to enjoy the content that I'm able to deliver.

I've started the process of trailblazing a new type of modding for Breakpoint that has allowed me to edit and modify previously unchangeable aspects about weapons. This presently includes swapping the weapon shoot sounds, specific attachment swaps (not optics, these are different) and of course, triggers. Yes, I can now change the trigger types on weapons. But, with every new way of doing mods, comes a different method of installation. While it is not radically different from current methods, it is different, so please read the new installation instructions at the bottom of the changelog to ensure that everything goes smoothly. Any files inside of folders labelled "DBCcontainerEntry" utilize this new installation method. For anything else, use the older methods.

Weapon Specific Attachment swaps (Weapon tweaks file):

All Conversion DMRs (The ones that come from ASRs)

Changed all the triggers from semi/burst to semi/auto

C-SFP pistol:

Added a select fire semi/auto trigger

Mk17:

Swapped the M203 grenade launcher for the Bullpup grenade launcher (some clipping with the magazine is present)

Mk17 DMR:

Converted the main upper receiver and barrel assembly to match the Mk17 Asu. Upper reciever now takes the colour of the barrel so you can get that two-toned look

MSR:

Swapped the gunshot sound to the VSK sniper rifle. Expect a beefier unsuppressed gunshot but a smooth suppressed gunshot.

Koblin:

Removed the ugly magwel grip

New Weapon update (New Weapon file):

Honey Badger:

Added the wrapped 5.56 suppressor (finally! Lot more work than it seems). This requires both an update to the base weapon file, and some editing using the new methods to make this work. Suppressor is now also removable! However, a bug that arises because of this is that the unsuppressed muzzle flash will occur at your shoulder instead of at the muzzle. Suppressed shots still look fine.

v1.5 Update Changelog OPTICS!!!!!!

General Attachment changes [Attachments file]:

SIlencers:
50 cal suppressor changed to the Deagle wrapped suppressor
Shotgun suppressor changed to 50 cal suppressor

Optics:

Firstly, a quick note about optics. These are THE MOST FINICKY THINGS FOR WEAPONS. As such, they do not like being tampered with at all and some steps need to be taken by the player [YOU] AFTER you load into the game.

PLEASE READ THE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS AT THE END OF THE CHANGELOG FOR YOUR OPTICS TO WORK. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN YOUR OPTICS BEING USELESS AND YOU BEING SAD

Digital (Elcan) to ACSS:
Looks like the ACSS scope on the rail. When you ADS, the standard Digital scope ADS "view" is what you see

T5XI to Paladin scope:
Looks like the Paladin scope on the rail, is a T5XI when you ADS

VC16 - ACSS:
This is my trial run on intermediate optic edits. Looks like an ACSS on the outside, uses the ACSS reticle on the inside, AND eliminates the "Blackout" surrounding the scope during ADS. This should improve situational awareness in combat. Lucky coincidence: The markings on the scope seem to line up very accurately to the bullet drop on most of my DMRs which allows me to make 400m+ first round impacts

Weapon Specific Attachment swaps (Weapon tweaks file):

Mk17:

Handguard: Added the Mk17 ASU handguard to the default barrel length

Stock: Replaced the Mk17 Shorty stock (for all Mk 17 variants) to the ACR stock

Mags: Changed out the enxtended Mk17 mag with the AK drum mag
Note: Some clipping here, nothing I can do about it

Optics Tutorial
What you may notice on initial load in, is that when you look through your fancy new optic, one or more parts of your reticle may be missing. This is the game "forgetting" to load that stuff in. Here is how to "remind" it and get your optics back to being usable. Each optic may have to go through the process independently to each other. This process has to be re-done on each load-in to the game, and anytime you join/leave a co-op lobby. Fast traveling around the map does not affect the optics, just a full world refresh.

Digital to ACSS:
  • Check if the optic is working. If it is, great, you're done.
  • If optic is not working, open up the gunsmith and select the ACOG optic
  • Back out of the Gunsmith AND LOOK THROUGH THE ACOG. [The looking is what "reminds' the game to load certain aspects of the optics for the digital sight)
  • Go back into the Gunsmith and select the Digital sight
  • Go back to the game and enjoy your optic
  • Profit

T5XI and VC16 Optics
(The process is the same for each, but may need to be done for each optic independently)

  • Check if the optic is working. If it is, great, you're done.
  • If optic is not working, open up the gunsmith and select the TARS101 optic
  • Back out of the Gunsmith AND LOOK THROUGH THE TARS101. [The looking is what "reminds' the game to load certain aspects of the optics for your scope)
  • Go back into the Gunsmith and select your scope
  • Go back to the game and enjoy your optic
  • Profit

v1.4 Update Changelog (Courtesy of Discord requests)

Weapon Specific Attachment swaps (Weapon tweaks file):

G28 and G28 Scout:
Swapped the standard mag with a pmag

M4a1 Scout: Travis Haley Najaf Rifle
Swapped the handguard to the 553 scout handguard
Swapped the barrel to the M4a1 Assault barrel (with front sight post)
Swapped the Mawl DA to a side mounted Atpial laser

Known Issues with Travis Haley Najaf Rifle:
Optics and iron sights float above the rail. This is to ensure that optics remain usable
Angled foregrips clip into the chonky handguard.

M4a1 CQC:
Swapped the barrel to the M4a1 barrel (with front sight post)

AK74 Assault: Overhaul to AK105
Visually swapped the main body to the AK47 ASU
Magazines now have the AK74 Assault Survival Wrap
Default flash hider now the 7.62 Russian flash hider
Comp M4 swapped to the Micro T1

Dust cover and handguard now have their color tied to the barrel color

Known issues with AK74 Assault:
Optics are misaligned (due to body swap) I recommend ONLY USING micro T1 sight as it remains point of aim/point of impact

v1.3 Update Changelog

Note from the Creator (Me):

Update schedule has slowed because I’m running out of ideas. I set out to make this mod a repository of weapon-based changes because most of
the existing mods are clothing and I wanted to upgrade my weapons as much as my character. I’ve achieved what I originally wanted to distribute based on what I had wanted out of Breakpoint. However, I understand that members of the community (YOU) still have unfulfilled visions based on what they wanted out of the game. So please feel free to post your ideas either in the comments or on the Anvil Toolkit Discord (I also peruse the ghost recon subreddit). I’d like to drop at least 1 update a week, but those updates should be substantive and not just one or two minor changes, but still concise enough that I have time to quality test them before release.

File Segregation:

The previous version main file has gotten a bit big. So the main categories of modifications and aspects of the mod have been broken down
into separate files so that you can download just what you want in a more manageable file size.

Weapon Specific Attachment swaps:

M110/M110k1:

Standard magazine changed from previous Mk17mags to the FN FAL mag to better show off the angled bottom of typical SR25
mags

Mk12 (M4a1 scout):

Default flash hider changed to Mk12 compensator
        Handguard changed to M110 handguard

AK47 Shorty:

Wrapped mags (Ak74 mags)
Micro T1 replaces the leopold reflex
Rifle grip swapped to the M4a1 Grip
ATPIAL swapped from top mount to side mount when used with the microT1 sight
Dust cover replaced with standard AK47 dustcover + side adapter for top rail (replaces the
full length top rail)

General Attachment Swaps

AK Stocks:

Polymer AK 74 stock – Replaced by Uzzi stock
                CoreCP –Replaced by Magpul CTR
Zentico Stock – Replaced by nothing (for those who want stockless Ak rifles)

Ak suppressors

                Ak to9mm Suppressor
                Ak to Wrapped 5.56

Grip + Bipod

Now uses KAC grip instead of Magpul Grip

Known issues:

Mk12 optics float slightly above the rail. I can fix this, but then all the sights are off. I felt leaving them floating but accurate
was better.
Had some crashing with the new Grip+Bipod, but issue went away without me changing anything. Caveat Emptor

v1.2 Update Changelog

Fun changes:

Added a smoke trail to the UBGL rounds.

Note: Some users report infrequent crashing when firing the UBGL with this installed. I personally have not noticed this, but use at own risk

Weapon Specific Attachment swaps:

ARX200: Replaced small and standard mags with more accurate 7.62 Pmags

AC-AR (Galil Ace): Swapped the default stock with the extended MP5 stock
Swapped the default mags with AK12 mags

MCX Spear Update:

New handguard skeleton restores compatibility with the MAWL DA laser attachment.
Added new short barrel option

New Weapon:
Genesis 12 shotgun: Replaces the AA12
Complete rebuild of the AA12 to look and function more like the Genesis 12 using existing in-game assets

How it's made:
Honeybadger receiver
AUG regular and extended mags
Honeybadger handguard (short barrel)
Honeybadger barrel (short barrel)
Mk18 handguard (regular barrel)
Mk18 barrel (regular barrel)
Imod stock
Magpul Ironsights

Known issues:
Sights don't align with the ADS camera. As such, for no-hud users, I recommend attaching a laser and aiming over-the-shoulder
(the laser is still zeroed correctly)

Note: This weapon uses files in both the AA12 and AA12 Custom folders in the download. Both are required for this to work

v1.1 Update Changelog

New Stock Option Added
SR3M Tactical: Replaces the Taclite stock with the minimalist stock from the SR3M

New Attachment Swap
Default bipod now includes the handstop from the Koblin
Foregrip + Bipod now uses the default bipod instead of the Magpul bipod
7.62 Standard suppressor swapped to the m4a1 wrapped suppressor

New Weapon Variant:
M110: Added the M110k1 variant
Swapped the standard Pmags with the more accurate box stanag mags from the Mk17
Normal barrel: Default short barrel + handguard
Short barrel: Handguard swapped to the 416 assault handguard
All standard attachments should work as normal

Note: Because the global stock list is included in the M110 folder, there are 2 seperate versions. One will have the modded stock list from v1.0 for those who already downloaded it. The second one is standalone just the weapon modification for those who don't want the updated stock list.

New Weapon:
MCX Spear: Replaces the MDR
Complete rebuild of the MDR to look and function more like the MCX Spear using existing in-game assets
How it's made:
M110 receiver
Default mags (correct capacity at 20 and 25rnds respectively)
416 assault handguard
g28 sct short barrel (uses this for both regular and short barrel lengths)
Magpul MOE SLK Stock
Known issues:
UBGL clips into the magazine
Spent casings eject upwards and will be noticeable while ads firing
Reload animation is a bit janky. Nothing I can do about it

What This Mod Does:

Weapon wraps:

G28: G28 commando wrap
G28 Scout: G28 Scout Wolves Wrap
Scorpio Scout: Scorpio Scout Survival Wrap
Tac 50: Tac 50 Wolves AND Brown Wrap

Stock swaps:

A2M: Gets the back padding from the g28 wolves
CTR: Gets the wrapping from the 516 survival [Mesh only sits right on 416/516 rifles + variants]
Core CP: Swapped to the k1a stock with wrapping [On some weapons it floats offset from the receiver]
EMOD: Gets the straps from the m4a1 assault sentinel
M-BRS: Gets the wrappings from the m4a1 survival [Mesh only sits right on m4a1 rifle + full size variants]
MS-U: Swapped to M110 KAC SASS stock
Mini CQB: Gets the wrapping from the m4a1 Tactical [Mesh only sits right on m4a1 rifle + full size variants]

Laser Beam swaps:

Gives the green Mawl laser beam to other lasers

Suppressor swap:

Swapped the default 338 suppressor to the 50 cal wrapped suppressor from the deagle survival [Only color it in solid colors otherwise it goes pink]

Angled foregrip swaps

ASR: Swapped the Strike Cobra AFG for the koblin's unique handstop
SMG: Swapped the Shift Short AFG for the koblin's unique handstop

Magazine swaps

Stanag: Added the option for either the k1a stanag wrappings OR the VHSD survival wrappings for M4a1 rifles

Weapon modifications:

Mark 17 Scout: Swapped the stock to a default A2M
AK platforms: Swapped the Core CP to a default CTR stock
AK 47 ASU: Swapped the default muzzle to a more aggressive muzzle break
Swapped the default magazine to the wrapped magazine from the AK74 survival
M4A1 scout: Swapped the handguard to the m4a1 tactical
Mk23: Swapped the block laser to the slimmer pistol laser
45 Longslide (the terminator 1911): Removed the laser
Honey Badger: Swapped the handguard to better match the MCX LVAW
Added the option to replace the default suppressor with the 50 cal wrapped suppressor from the deagle survival
Added the stock wrappings from the Brown variant

What This Mod Does Not Do:

Stocks: It's a take it or leave it for the stock swaps. It's 1 file that has all the information that most of the weapons call upon. There isn't an opportunity to only have certain stocks on certain weapons but not on others. I'm also not planning on having every permutation of the above stock list as separate files for you to choose from

45 Longslide: No you don't get to keep the laser beam. It's gone too

Other mods that go great with this one (not by me):
