I made this mod to make explosive damage more realistic. Soviet RPG damage buffed. As for balistic weapon - I think damage is fine. So no, I don't think I will do damage buff for balistic weapon.
I don't think the Damage buff works anymore, i shot the Granatgevär m/49 at the Small Soviet Robots and needed 3 and sometimes more shoots to take them down.
I made quick test with an without mod. it takes 2-3 times more shots to down same enemy without mod than it takes with it. soviet balls took 2 shots with mod for me. they have tricky armor. and I am not sure I know how armor exactrly works in this game. you can shot them in ball with railgun and they take no damage., and it takes only 1 shot in red light to take them down. I guess that's because of the way that explosive damage works in the game. I can't fix it. do you have same problem with any other enemy?
I don't Think so but i need to take like 5-6 Shoots to take down one of the Flyer's aswell as Tanks desptie hitting Weakpoints or Direct Shots at the Armour Plates it's a bit inconsistent.
Fnix Class Hunter's take 2-3 Shoots too depending where i hit and if it's splash damage or direct.
ok. I have made a mod with ridiculous damage and it still takes 2-4 shots to down a tank or harvester. I noticed it usually 1 shot that stuns them and then 1 more to down them, for hunters too. it took 5 shots to down apoc tank 4 level rival. I guess in base game it will take more. but in the same time it takes 6 shots to down flying soviet thing both with and without mod. I guess devs changed something like the way the armor works. I did what I usually do, there are just couple numbers changed. to be honest, I have no idea what's wrong. I don't have time right now to investigate this.
So incredibly useful, I was incredibly annoyed to find the vanilla rocket launcher was less damaging than shotgun birdshot (the apparent "best" option for taking out tanks in vanilla.)
This makes launchers feel like more than t shirt cannons and worth carting around.

ok. thanks for notice. will update in a few days. game crashes with a mod or just has no effect? you can try to remove parts of the mod oyu don't need. if you only use granatgewar - delete everything except dropzone/editor/entities/ammo/blahblah...launcher_explosive_impact.ee it still might work.

any chance of getting this updated for the 12/12/24 final game udpate, this was an outstanding addon, when the remote-control tick gets deployed, nothing happens, you never get control, pardon the pun but this mod was a blast and hope to have it back, also, you did have an addon for the .50 cal but it was archived, if you are going to update, could you do that one again

Is there a way to customize the damage? Without the mod, Tanks and Harvesters would eat all my rockets and still stand, but with the mod, Harvesters go down in one shot and Tanks in 2 from RPG
it's still takes more than couple of shots to take down military class and higher. and answering your question - yes, there is a way. go check "genzero modding" discord.
this broke with the recent update the rockets from the bazooka doesn't explode when hitting the targets even if you just shoot it at the ground under your feet. i don't know about the other things in this mod haven't tested them yet.
I have added optional file for 50 cal explosive. I did never use 50explosive, because ap much better. By the way it's always explodes without deploying on surfaces despite it's descritpion, so I don't know if it works.

and dont start with the M60 machine gun who also uses the same ammo and has massive dmg boost :,D

Tbh thank you very much for this Mod i actually have now a Rocket Launcher that can Annihilate the Enemy instead of a Pea Shooter thanks!
