So its just makes time go faster, or it give more time? I mean if it takes 1 hour to build something with 4x multiplier it will take 15 minutes, Or just same time but game speed increase?
This 'hijacks' the game's normal speed/speed up function and sets it to 0.25x to make the game feel like it is moving slower to real-time speed. Purely for immersion; but you can use this to make your game run faster too.

hey, in your readme file it says after toggling the cheat, players must use in game time controls, what does that mean "use in game time controls?" im playing on 1.6.2 version of the game btw, that should work ye?
ah, i tried with pause and it doesnt work, i think epic version is 1.6.0 and steam is 1.6.2 so prbly that why is not working, thanks anyways for creating a timescale mod, those mods are always needed for any game :D, for people who cant make it work you can just use speedhack that is built in with cheat engine and slow down the game that way, even tho this mod is better then that but unfortunatly incompatible with dif game versions
Always buy your games on Steam! You can downgrade the game via the Steam Console and try 1.6.0 that way.
1.6.0 came out August 20th, 2020(!) - was it really that long ago? You can try the following below, but since I do not own the game on Steam, I cannot verify if this is the right version:
On my Steam.exe shortcut, the target in properties is ""C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe" -console" and when I run Steam from that shortcut I have a tab called 'CONSOLE' to the right of my name in Steam.
In the 'CONSOLE' Tab you would paste in each of the following; waiting for download finished message to appear before pasting next command (errors will appear, but that is normal):
Once all of this is finished, these files will be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_323190\depot_323XXX folders
If you combine all of the files into one folder it will become the full Frostpunk game from 2+ years ago. I recommend backing up the original game and deleting the contents of the original game install folder, and replacing it with the old version you downloaded. Then run the game through steam.
Absolute FUD! This is a single player game and you are allowed to use CheatEngine and stream mods on Twitch. You can get banned modding on multiplayer games but this is Frostpunk...
Here is description. I made this mod over a year ago so I need to follow my instructions too.
To use this cheat table, open CheatEngine, attach FrostPunk.exe process and open FrostpunkTimeControl.CT. Tilde key (~) is set to toggle the script, but can be easily removed or changed in the hotkey settings. Default value is 0.25x speed. Change to whatever value you want. After toggling the script or changing the time multiplier, player must use the in-game time controls for new value to take effect. Player must disable script if they want to fast forward.
This mod is primarily just to have a more realistic time scale.
I just loaded up my save, attached process to cheat engine, opened up script, and it shows 0.25 for the float. Changing time warp in-game applies the 0.25 scale.
Setting value to 4 in cheat engine and then adjusting time in-game would apply a 4x time multiplier.
If this doesn’t work, please let me know what version of game you are on? Most likely a different .exe.

(GOG Version)
I don't think the game has been updated but I only own the Epic Games version.

Test on a new save just in case.
What are you even doing on NexusMods? lol
