Expanded on game.ini and lod.ini settings:
Lods range as been set for 1024 units for static objects and dynamic objects instead of the maximum of 200 units allowing for more polygon detail at further distances. (May require the game to be played at max settings like max view distance, foliage etc.)
CPUGapsNovice, CPUGapsIntermediate and CPUGapsExpert values are set to 1.0 instead of 0.15 in the game.ini file.
Renamed the mod file to FlatOut 1 Alternate Textures And Physics for consistency sake.

- FlatOut 1 Alternate Textures And Physics
Mod aims to offer an improvement to FlatOut 1 with some texture improvements and better gameplay like the Ai drivers driving similar to the FlatOut 2 counter parts and FlatOut 2 style camera.
Side Note -All screenshots and video footage where taken using ThirteenAG's fix with the FOV set to 0.8
Installing:
Place the mod in the directory of the game: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FlatOut
Then open the patch.ini file and add a line under patch1.bfs, FlatOut 1 Alternate Textures And Physics.bfs and save the file See the last image for reference
Uninstalling:
Remove the mod from the directory of the game You can also remove the line FlatOut 1 Alternate Textures And Physics.bfs and make sure that europe.bfs is the last line to be read by the game and save the file
