With all due respect, I don't see the point of having this mod for the game. It made perfect and concise sense for only one or the other to be on the weapon as poison strike and touch don't need to be together. strike is usually a permanent outcome and touch is the ability being there with a decent enough rate of it connecting to the fiend.

A mod I'd like to see the names of the weapons be changed but I know that would most likely cause major bugs, crashes and issues within the system probably.

strike is usually a permanent outcome and touch is the ability being there with a decent enough rate of it connecting to the fiend.

This is wrong. Completely wrong. It works like I will explain below, and you can test it yourself.

Touch adds a 50% base infliction chance, while Strike adds a 100% base infliction chance. Only "Attack" and all "Skill"(s) are affected.
It further adds with a Skill inherent chance. This is 100% for all, except Dark/Silence/Sleep Buster, which never miss.
So Dark Attack with a Dark Touch weapon will have a 150% base infliction chance (100+50)
But remember that no such skill exists for Death, Petrification, Poison or Slow.

For an enemy with a resistance of 0, using "Attack" with Touch results in a 50% chance (50-0) and Strike results in a 100% chance (100-0)
For an enemy with a resistance of 45, using "Attack" with Touch results in a 5% chance (50-45) and Strike results in a 55% chance (100-45)
For an enemy with a resistance of 95, using "Attack" with Touch results in a 0% chance (50-95) and Strike results in a 5% chance (100-95)
That's not what you call "a permanent outcome" or "a decent enough rate of it connecting". 0% and 5% is not that.

Having both is possible if you customize Touch first/above and Strike second/below, this will result in 150% base infliction chance.
For an enemy with a resistance of 45, using "Attack" with both results in a 105% chance (150-45, that is) - Cannot miss, unlike 55% above.
For an enemy with a resistance of 95, using "Attack" with both results in a 55% chance (150-95, that is) - Much higher than 5% above.
So it DOES make a difference. If you don't understand the mechanics of the game, that's not my fault. Save your complaints for elsewhere.

(And yes, the status infliction chance is substracted, not multiplied by the game. This means Touch on an enemy with 50% resistance results in a 0% chance, which is 50-50, not in a 25% chance, which would theoretically be 0.5 * 0.5 or 50% * 50%, this "intuition" is wrong)

A mod I'd like to see the names of the weapons be changed but I know that would most likely cause major bugs, crashes and issues within the system probably.

This is possible, but would require modding every single language separately, or it will only work for the language you changed (like English)
If done correctly, it doesn't cause any bugs, crashes or problems. You just need time and patience to change it.
If by mistake you used a "broken character", when the name is to be displayed on screen the game will immediately crash.
That being said, I don't know why others keep assuming I take requests. I do not.
