      I just drag the files (not the folders) into ...\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY FFX&FFX-2 HD Remaster\UnX_Res\inject\textures
      and also change the values in the UnX Config. File to
      [UnX.Textures]
      ResourceRoot=UnX_Res
      Dump=true
      Inject=true
      Cache=true

      See also my reply to the newest Post, it could be a problem, that is beyond my knowledge unfortunately.

    I cannot get any of the X-2 texture mods to work.
    Ive extracted this and This is Our Story to UnX_Res>Inject>Textures and Yuna inspired tidus to UnX_old., I have also tried extracting the files and drag copying them into the folder.
    I have manually reloaded the texture files in game under Direct d3 11 > render mod tools. Ive had my [UnX.Textures] folder set to both
    ResourceRoot=UnX_Res
    Dump=false
    Inject=true
    Cache=true
    And replaced dump=true as well. Nothing works.. My dxgi.log shows both enumerating dumped and injectable and the number of files. I have run texture mods for many games and using Vortex, Draklab and other folder directories. All other mods for X-2, including all other features of Untitled Project X .9 and Farplane, work. Texture swaps for the buttons to PS classic icons work. But not these textures. I used the manual installer that this page links under requirements (everything worked but textures) and then found the new Special K manager installer that is now recommended - again everything works but these textures

    Does anyone know why nothing changes? These are the only mods that just will not work, even though all the file logs are saying things were installed properly e.g. clicking inside the folder shows the 4 respective dds files for Donna, which are the 4 listed files under enumerating injectables

      Hi
      I'm really sorry to hear that. Unfortunately I believe that I don't really have a solution. You seem to do everything correctly.
      I also really just drag all the files in the ...\UnX_Res\inject\textures folder and it always works fine.

      It's been a while since I set UnX up, but I double checked and I didn't tamper that much with any configurations.
      I have Texture Caching enabled under Direct3d>Texture Management and have the cache size around 6000 MiB. Maybe it has something to do with that.

      My apologies for not being able to provide further help. I#m not really a techy-person, I was happy to find an easy way to redesign the textures.

    Would love to  see some comparison screenshots. I boot up this game after a long time and don't know how much this mod will change the scenery.

    with these graphical updates, all we need now is a decent gameplay difficulty mod and ffx-2 can be gold again lol...  shame we only have one... all over the place janky one to go with these nice textures :(

      Thank you! I apreciate it.

      Yea it would help a lot if we at least  could edit Monsters. But AFAIK no one is actively working on that.
      I'm just a designer and have no knowledge at all about programming or reverse engineering :(
