Can I also put these in the injector folder in Project X? Also, is it compatible with other HD mods injected with Project X?

Place it straight into the FFX/FFX-2 directory, I have added the folder names with Project X in mind :)

Would you be willing to provide a bit of information on how you create these? Do you just use the Project X dumping setting to get the files, or is there a cleaner way to get specific files (for example, say I only want to extract the files for Valefor)? Also, after you're done editing in Photoshop, GIMP, etc, what settings do you use to save the DDS files?
I'm interesting in getting into FFX texture modding, but the process seems very different from FFXII.

I just use the project X dumping method however there is a way to limit how many textures you have to sift through find an area where the game has to load the textures you want to use, find a save point, save the game, exit the game, delete all textures in the dump folder then reload your save and it will only dump textures that are around you or that are meant to load in that area at some point, for Valefor just summon him and his textures will be dumped.

Now for the DDS files I use Photopad Image Editor to convert them from png after editing them in Photoshop. You do have to pay for this software but it's like 20 something dollars US .

Thanks for getting back to me! That sounds easy enough. Are there any specific settings you use when converting to DDS? I have the Nvidia DDS plugin for Photoshop, so if I can use that I would like to.
