hello, I am using a translator to speak to you. It's very nice of you to have made this mod but could you do a more detailed tutorial to install the mod? I admit that I'm a little lost because as much as it seems simple like that, I end up with several folders in certain archives (bepinEX is also in Magicite) Thank you anyway
Thank you, Shiryu64! I was busy over the weekend when Lao333 had asked for this on the Origins Mod page, was just about to look into it, but I see you already got to it. So thank you!
It should work with all 3 as that file only adjusts the positioning and when I checked the 3 versions I couldn't find anything different between them. Maybe snake78mw can confirm that.
I am pretty sure that it should work for all 3 difficulties.
Although if you are using the UnCorrectedPositions or Axel's Pixel DEmaster Mod (variable options in the Origins Mod), those may be broken with this file.
If you are using one of those variable options, you can make your own fix by opening the file monster_party.csv in a spreadsheet software (like Excel, LibreOffice, GoogleSheets, etc), and copy the row that has ID 346 (row 347 in Excel) from monster_party.csv in this mod and paste it over the same row in whichever monster_party.csv file you are using (from UnCorrectedPositions or Axel's Pixel DEmaster Mod), and then save and fully close it.
As I wrote in the description that's one of the limitations of the mod. Basically, the numbers are displayed below the sprite, this one's too big and they appear off-screen. It's a minor sacrifice for getting a better-looking sprite.
Either way, this only happens with Chaos, so if you plan to use any of the other mods for the bosses from FFII to FFVI, those do work as intended.
Well, I plan to do the final boss of FF6, but out of those you said the only one that would be feasible is Garland. The playable characters have a set size and the ones from BE are too big (which is why the PSP sprites have not been ported by anyone). I'll try to have Garland (both the regular and the Dissidia one) done later today as it's something that won't take much time to do. It's up, including both the regular and the Dissidia design and matching overworld sprites. Enjoy!
That's because you're not using Memoria, please follow the instructions. Memoria is needed to load the loose file that adjusts the position of the sprite.
