excellent mod to play with. can i ask a bit? is this mod of urs compatible with beatrix only mod? i also got modified a bit like character stats and items not shop stuff to match my own prefrence, not sure if its compatible or not.
As long the mod doesn't touch the records for the Daguerro and Black Mage Village (Disc 4) shops then it will be compatible. Beatrix mod afaik should not make any edits to shops and should be compatible.
good to hear that, thanks for the reply :) but ur the other mod like the playable tantalus mod is not compatible with beatrix only mod right? but its compatible with tirlititi's Alternate fantasy 6.5 onwards.
Tantalus is a different mod, and of course it will have different compatibilities from Black Cat.
The main concern is that Beatrix Mod touches a lot of records that it overwrites a lot of changes in Tantalus (and other mods). If you're playing with Alternate Fantasy you shouldn't have Beatrix Mod, but if you're just playing the base game with Beatrix Mod then Tantalus should be placed higher than Beatrix Mod.
Excellent mod! Wondering if it would make sense to add Wizard Rod and Siren's Flute to Daguerro's shop, as well. They are both kind of superfluous by the time you normally can get them (BMV Disc 4 and almost at the final boss respectively), but I don't know if it's beyond the scope. Either way, thanks for sharing!
Ah so you mean add these items in Disc 3 as well? I'll keep this in my mind when I update the mod, but it may be likely out of scope already, but we'll see.
You need to select which version of Black Cat (vanilla or Alternate Fantasy) you need to activate. Since you don't have any other mods, 'Vanilla' should be checked/activated in the mod.
Thanks for the mod! With what I understood from it is possible then to have most of common items at 99, since now they will be available for purchase at the end and not locked out as dozens are after Disc 3. My question is if it has also Add-ons available or is it strick Weapons & Armor, literally. Also, aside from the most rare items, is it possible to buy most of the "item-ingredients"? Asking for the intention on having 99 of all possible equipment.

Hey there, as stated in the description, Mr. 239 (BMV's weapon and armor shop) will be able to sell every gear you can buy in regular shops, and you can synthesize every add-on available in synthesis shops. If you're looking for add-ons you'd still need to synthesize them the usual way, the mod just lets you buy and synthesize every item possible in shops at end-game. Some add-ons may have unique materials (like Protect Ring needing Dark Matter). There will be no plans to make unique items buyable in this mod.

Is it possible to get an Hammer or Tin Armor in the shop? Because one of the issue is that we can either get the hammer OR the tin armor, but not both at the same time :( And we get the tin armor so late in the game that we don't really have time to benefit from it.
The hammer is more like a trophy item, and so is Tin Armor. There will be no plans in this mod to include any unique or non-shop items (like Hammer) purchasable in shops.

Terra's destruction, you boarded Invincible, and went to Black Mage village with the Genomes.
And yeah this is done so we don't get access to powerful items beyond what is limited with you at any time. Since it's near the end of the game already, the mod gives you the freedom to synthesize every shop-available items.
