The file size is crazy (600mb uncompressed) but it works, even if we install it in a game saved on the same room as the Excalibur II should spawn. The mod can be installed just to get the weapon and then uninstalled right after.
People having difficulty to use this mod, learn to use Memoria for FFIX, as it's a requirement for almost all FFIX mods. Memoria is not just a mod manager, it enables modding.
Hi, I would like to keep the time limit but i would like to request a mod that freezes the game clock on cinematics and speech bubbles outside of battle. Is that something you could do?
Good afternoon. I have a question regarding the installation: I have the memoria engine mod. I installed the memoria by its patch.exe and got it working. All the nice stuff, launcher, etc. However, after unzipping your files into my game root folder, when I launch the launcher, the "install mods" doesn't appear. But the "1 magic stone mods works". Are your mod working too? even if without the "install mods" buttom? thanks for your attention.
You probably need to edit your Memoria.ini file so that the mod shows up :D Open the file and look for the [Mod] section. There you will see the "Folder Names" and "Priority" lines. Go at the end of the Folder Names line and at the very end type in a comma, then leave a space, and after that you will need to paste the exact name of my mod's folder inside quotation marks. It shoul look like this, more or less:
Save the file then close it, and open the FF9_Launcher again. Go to the Install Mods section and my mod should be present ;) make it active and it will work. Just make it sure that Moguri Mod is set at the lowest in your mod list
Hello! Thank you for creating this MOD. I am a Japanese player. There aren't many detailed articles about FF9 MODs in Japan, so I'm reaching out here for information. I installed the MOD you made so that it would be recognized by MEMORIA. However, it doesn't seem to be working properly. I adjusted the priority in the ini file and turned off all other MODs, aiming to launch the game in the cleanest state possible. Yet, even when starting from the save data before the "Lich" battle, the Excalibur II doesn't appear in its designated location after defeating Lich. Could you please provide a solution?
This is odd, because what I did to create this mod is to remove one line of code in the scripting of the excalibur 2 event; namely, I removed the "12 hours or less" condition. It's working for me, but I don't know how to replicate the issue o_o

If yes, go to the "github" page, here is the link.
https://github.com/Albeoris/Memoria/releases/tag/v2023.06.11
Download the file "Memoria.Patcher.exe" and put it in the game directory.
Then put the mod folder "ExcaliburIINoTimeLimit" in the game directory of the game.
Then delete or move the file "Memoria.ini" from the game directory. It must not be in the game directory of the game.
Then click on "Memoria.Patcher.exe" and run the patch. When it is finished, close the window.
And check if there is a new file "Memoria.ini" in the game directory of the game. If not, click "Memoria.Patcher.exe" again and run the patch again.
If the "Memoria.ini" file is in the game directory, click on "FF9_Launcher.exe" and go to "Install Mods".
Then you should find the mod "ExcaliburIINoTimeLimit" on the "Installed Mods" page. Mark it with a check mark and the mod is activated.
