i can't seem to get it working. i've followed the instructions by creating and placing mods into a "~mods" folder but none of my mods will work. anyone have an idea why?

Try adding _P before .pak, so it looks like "modnamehere_P.pak", that fixed my mods.

I've been enjoying this mod, but I'd like to change a few things. Unfortunately, uModel doesn't detect anything with this PAK file, which is odd because the mod worked just fine for me in the game, but I don't know how. It doesn't appear to alter any game files that uModel can detect (unlike every other mod).

Furthermore, the linked Spreadsheet is helpful but only lists the changes made to the armors. It doesn't list the changes to weapons, so I'm not sure how the author tweaked them or what I'd be missing out on were I to revert back to vanilla.

the weapons are on a separate tab. At the bottom of the spreadsheet there is a second tab labelled "Weapon Codes and Stats".

Ive also tried to edit the equipment file but there is no Equipment.uasset only a Equipment.uexp

Ok found out that if you have a Equipment.uasset file in the same folder as an Equipment.uexp file it loads up that uexp file stats. (using ff7r data editor)
you can then change what you want and then save it as a new Equipment.uexp file and repack that into a mod to use instead of this one.

Is there a way you can do this
Equipment Rebalance: Base version, has Materia slot increases, Armor Defense buffs, and minor weapon tweaks.
Equipment Rebalance - Slots only: ONLY modifies the Materia slots on weapons and armor. No stats are touched.
for FFVII-REBIRTH for the progression part? Not MAX LV 8 Slot Beginning. For both Weapon, Armor, and Skills. Progression of the Materia adding the 2 slots in the beginning. Weapon Rebalance.

I really like using this as a slot only upgrade.

Unfortunately, I also like using the 8slot star bracelet mod, the one with 100 def and 100 mag def.

Obviously these 2 mods wont work in tandem as one overrides the other.
I'm not sure how to go about making them compatible myself as the most experience I have with modding is putting Pak files into a folder and renaming some with a z in front to change load order.
So I was wondering if you could tell me how to access what's in the Pak and change the Star bracelet stuff?

Edit: Found out how to do it. For anyone interested in FF7R modding of data google "jordanbtucker ff7r-data-editor wiki Getting Started" it should be the first result

I tried to use the method you mentioned but after I extracted the mod file, there is only one .uexp file and no .uasset file. Did you encounter the same problem?!

This might be a bit late, but for anyone who stumbles across this like me and has the same question:

the .uasset file needs to be extracted from the game itself. If you follow the steps in the "UE Viewer" part of the tutorial Keigai mentioned, it will give you the exact file you need. Put it in the same folder as the .uexp file you extracted from the mod, then open either of them with ff7r data editor. Happy modding :)

Works great on steam, people are probably not reading the folder properly. Could you also make it work for all the equipment in Yuffie's dlc please?

i regret installing this mod as it make my damage output weaker love the other changes though i'll be looking forward to a version that either keeps thee damage at vanilla or buffs it by 1 on each item
