About this mod
Replaces the background music of the church with "Flowers Blooming In The Church" - rescored based on the ensemble of the original FF7 arrangement of this piece (featuring electric piano). Only affects the interior of the church, not the rooftops level.

This mod replaces Aerith's Theme [Piano Version] with an arrangement of Flowers Blooming in the Church that very closely matches Nobuo Uematsu's score. This is an alternative to another mod I produced, which is an orchestral arrangement of the same piece. The notable differences are the use of electric piano instead of the vibraphone, and close-mic perspectives instead of orchestral scoring stage. This is also a more minimal arrangement of the theme - I removed most of the ornaments and harmonies from the orchestral arrangement because they didn't fit sonically with this instrumentation. As a result, there is only 1 repeat of the theme within the looped material, 2:24 in length. See the earlier orchestral mod version here: Flowers Blooming Music for Church Interior
If anyone is interested in a true-to-original arrangement that only includes the original 3 parts and none of the new harmonies, drop a comment in posts and I can make it available as an optional download if there's enough interest.
While I prefer the orchestral style production for this track to re-score this level, I decided to put together this electric piano version of Flowers Blooming while working on my Wall Market Dynamic Rescore mod. I had replicated the electric piano from the FF7 soundfont for my arrangement of The Oppressed using Lounge Lizard EP-4, a physical-modeling electric piano plugin. With the patch dialed in, I just had to replace the vibraphone and tweak mic mixes of the BBC Symphony Orchestra players to arrive at the new mix.
