Hi, I loved this mod when it was released and played through it twice! Would you be able to make something similar for Rebirth? Or would you be able to explain how you made the changes to the creatures that spawn?
Hello, thanks for supporting the mod! Well, as much as I would like to explain, unfortunately the steps to do so are not simple / straight forward. I may plan to develop something similar in Rebirth though.
Hello, first, I wanted to say thank you a lot for your mod, you have done a wonderful job. But i have a question, maybe you already answered, but i cannot find any answer. The increase of enemy´s stats is already included in your mod or do i need to download another mod along yours?. I´m not very advanced yet (chapter 4), so i wanted to know if your mod is enough to increase enemy´s hp, attack and defense. Thank you in advice
Hi there, no, the mod has no change in enemy's stats hence you would need to download another mod if you want to further increase the difficulty. Btw, I wanted to let you know that I am in the middle of releasing a newer version that has even more enemy variants across all chapters. I am not sure if you can wait for it (even I myself am not sure when I will be releasing it as I need to do more beta testing myself). But regardless, I hope you are enjoying the current version and hopefully you get to try out the newer version soon.
Hi, unfortunately this is not possible to do. Each boss can only exist in their respective chapter as their stats, models, behaviors, are only defined in their chapter.
Hi there, sorry for late reply. Actually this ''Difficulty Hardcore - Ultimate Full Package'' is kinda outdated (I should have remove it from the download list, my bad really. I think this was the very initial release version of the mod). I would recommend that you download the latest version (both the Hardcore and the VR-Colosseum Hardcore) for more up to date changes. Then you would need to download the Full Package mod from Gameplay Enhancement.
Very Important: If you are planning to install the latest version, make sure to have the hardcore mods to be listed below Gameplay Enhancement Full package mod in your mods folder. You may need to rename and add prefix of multiple 'z's on both of the hardcore mods (e.g: zzzHardcore.pak). This way, we can be sure that the hardcore mods will always listed below the gameplay enhancement mod. This is necessary to ensure that the hardcore mods' changes would take precedence first before gameplay enhancement mod take effect. Then you would need to uninstall this hardcore full package that you are playing now.
Once again I apologize for late reply.
EDIT: Oh wow, I just came across your videos in YouTube! I am flattered really :D Thanks for showcasing the mod (even though regrettably it is not the latest version, but still happy to see the videos). The version that you are playing is in fact harder (but still do-able) than the latest version but the latest version has more 'interesting' battles, heheh. Just so you know, I may release newer versions from time to time to further balance and adjust the enemy variations where necessary.
Not sure if I understood your question correctly, when you play the base game, you will be able to play the vr missions as clouds party. But if you are currently in yuffie dlc, then you will only get to play the vr missions as yuffie and sonon; and those vr missions are specific on the yuffie dlc. I have listed the battles of each vr mission in the description page for both base game and yuffie dlc.
ok,well its not showing up for me at tifa's bar place,it only show shiva fat chocobo and leviathan and i have the vr and colosseum installed but not the secret weis one
Okay I've been skimming the posts and trying to avoid too many redundant questions or wasting your time with lack of clarity so...
Do you know of any mods that would have the bonus content of hard modes but on the first playthrough with its level curve? Alternatively can the bonus content monsters and bosses be shoehorned into the colosseum and/or VR for the same purpose? How might I learn how to replace the monster encounters and such? Since a lot of bosses are cinematic heavy, can a boss per round be put in with a fairly high ranking enemy partner?
Also I'm a little confused on what parameters are changed in some of these. I'm starting collect a fair amount of gameplay change mods but most of them have like one parameter that is inconvenient or conflicting. The three things probably most important for me to have are no/high stat caps, a generous slowdown when using battle menu, and mechanics from classic combat like atb bar only raising via time. I'm pretty confused at the moment whether it would be more work to try to create my own mod with all my gameplay preferences or try to get the cocktail of mods to play nice.
Hi, I am not sure if I understood your questions correctly, but anyway here goes: 1) When you refer to bonus content monsters of hard mode, do you mean monsters that are only available in VR hard mode like Malboro, Pride n Joy etc? If that's the case then yes, this mod actually included them in some of the chapters. (I actually meant to keep it a secret since I want players to explore the chapters themselves, but oh well ;) ). As for chapter bosses, no you can't replace them and you can't have them spawn in other battle areas because just as you said, they are cinematic heavy and moving them out will cause the game to crash.
2) In terms of no high stat caps, do you mean something like having characters to have beyond 9999 HP for example? I think there already exists a standalone mod that achieves this purpose (I am not 100% sure about it but I have an impression that this mod was uploaded before). Same goes for the slowdown when using battle menu and classic combat as well. When I have the chance I will try to search for them.
3) You will definitely gonna spend more time and effort to make your own mod compared to searching and installing the mods but the rewards are much worth it! Sure the learning curve will be steep at first especially at the beginning when you first learn how to mod, but once you get the grasp of it, it will become easy. What's more satisfying to have your own customized mod that suits your own gaming preference right? ;)
A week ago I started the "Gameplay Enhancement" and now I discover this mod. Very cool! I have to restart ;-)
But I want more!!!!
If it's not too time consuming, can you boost all opponents (normal, elite and bosses) again with additional HP x 3? I would be very happy about that! Gladly again with the exp bonus ;-) With the enhancement mod + this one I should get around 9-10x vanilla EnemyHP. If I'm right.
I also play with the full "Gameplay Enhancement" + "Aggressive Enemies 50%" mod and "max LvL to 99" mod because I don't want to stop at lvl 50. In addition, I also play with the "Stage select" mod with which I restart the chapter and, for example, slowly grind through chapter 1 if I'm stuck. I loved the grinding in the FF7 original.
The Ultimate version (the one you have downloaded) already contains the additional enemy stats boost, i.e 3x HP, 1.4x attack, 1.3x defense, and 50% stagger resistance. If you wish to play with full package Gameplay Enhancement, you can do so by downloading the 'Difficulty Hardcore - Ultimate Full Package' mod file from the Optional File Section. This is basically Ultimate Hardcore + Gameplay Enhancement Fullpackage. You do however need to uninstall any FullPackage Gameplay Enhancement that you had installed previously.

Can you make like a story boss rush? Like you put all the story boss in a VR battle? TIA

And I need a new challenge after Elden Ring ;-)

I think "Difficulty Hardcore - Ultimate Full Package" is the same as "1a. from this mod + 2-12 from the "Gampley Enhanced mod"
Am I right?
