Is this at all possible to achieve? I love this game, I love this universe, but one thing I've never liked ... Is Cloud, at all. I don't like the character, don't like the story, don't like the gimmick, none of it. This mod is a lifesaver in the fact that I can erase him from the visuals of the game, but it feels like a disservice to have Zack called 'Cloud' the entire time. Lol.
Sorry, but this mod (especially Zack outfit) works with Cloud 1st Class (Velvet) option or with your Cloud Recolors (i really like the black option)? Thanks in advance!?
Actually you can make it possible by putting the cloud outfit only file and recolor mod in the same folder. For example I downloaded the Original Clothing Zack Recolored mod and put a "zz" in front of the file name as such. I think it makes the recolor mod load after the cloud outfit only file.
Ok, it looks like it was an issue with the HD project mod. After deleting that mod, it works with all other .pak files I had. The HD Mod must change core character assets.
I have found the specific .paks that this mod does not work with in the HD Project Mod. It seems the "zzzz Faces.pak" and "z Characters Main.pak" mods in the HD Project mod are causing this error to occur. I simply deleted those .paks from the HD mod and kept the rest, and the game runs perfectly fine with the zack mod active.

Hands down the best mod for this game. I legit re-bought this game JUST because of this mod. Any chance you could make a Sephiroth Head for Cloud(With normal and/or ponytail hair)? That's the only thing missing in my life. <3
The main file for the Zack swap replaces Zack's outfit with Cloud's, and the file that was actually supposed to replace Zack's outfit with Cloud's outfit just has normal Cloud with no changes. A friend has a similar issue, too.

I don't think it works if he keeps his OG armor on. You can try this mod to test that tho.

EDIT: Okay, so the Zack outfit don't change colors with the mod you suggested, but this is not a issue!
